What was the best Friday the 13th movie?

Everyone says they hate part 5. It is actually a good movie .. the only part that people think it sucks because its not Jason in the end. But the storyline is believable. Why wouldnt someone use him as a cover to commit murder ?

My least favorite is between 5 and 8.

I reallt liked 2, The bag on the head was great and the end was very scary, seeing Voorhies upstairs then running down and out of the house. But the scare at the end of part one is the best, Voorhies out of the lake to avenge his mother!!! WOOT WOOT!!

i think the reason that most people dont like nine is because it does the same thing Halloween 3 (the one with the cultists and all that shit) and Freddy movies after #2, they tried to make him a force of nature, like trying to rationalise the reason for him not dying. not cool, its shot well, good lighting and all that, wrong story

3 is the best of the series then 2 and 4...

The reason I didn't like #9 so much was because most of the time, it wasn't even Jason. It was a bunch of people possessed by Jason.

I agree with everybody else's opinions of why JGTH sucked royally.

My favorite would probably have to be Jason Lives.The 6th installment.

In my opinion,The best was the first by far..but I didn't really like any of them,including Freddy Vs. Jason.

The first one, it was the only one that i felt had any type of suspense factor, this is despite it not staring the films overall star (Jason). Although the rest are good brainless entertainment.
