Apocaylpse vs. Absorbing Man

bagI think the only way to stay safe from The Absorbing Man is to wear a bag over your head.
He doesn't have the intelligence of Apocaylpse but in pure raw power and potential he may be a match for him or anyone else in marvel except maybe creators like Galactus or Ego or Eon.
Now with his new telepatic powers he is one of the most dangerous beings in existance. He's got Iceman looking like an oversized lollypop and Iceman is really powerful.

Where are they? In a city? In space? Where?

In Apocalypse home the desert. Absorbing Man is looking to get full access to Apocalypses life amplifying recharging cocoon. In order to do that he has to defeat the big guy.

Can't Apocalypse just blast him before he has absorbed

Pretty sure he can absorb anything that touches him. Like any power Apocalypse has to use against him.

he absorbed fromt he blast?

no, he's absorbed energy blasts before, if he gets hit with lightning or fire he just becomes lighning or fire....... he doesn't need to explain the non-dispersion as his powers are magical........ 😮
