This is a role play based on the Jedi Academy started on Yavin 4 by Luke Skywalker. It takes place during Luke's head as the Academy's master.

Name: Khoroth Rand

Appearance: His eyes are black, but they can change color as the implants within them change for different uses. He wears thin, but strong, combat armor that covers his torso. His pants are also black, but they are heavy with pockets in which he carries varying items for combat. He stands around six feet, but his shoulders are wider than most peoples, and his arms and chest are thick, but not terminator extreme, with muscle as are his legs. He wears a pair of sunglasses that will change color with the light, depending on amount, angle, and type. The armor he wears is bright silver.
Character history: Born on Tatooine, he learned to use a speeder, and fire a blaster rifle at a young age, around five. Because of the harshness of the planet, he always found himself working, and was in better physical shape than most people are. One day when he was seven, he was out collecting from the moisture farms when he saw bright flashes on the horizon. Quickly, he hopped on his speeder and gunned it full throttle back home. He found a bounty hunter, backed up by two Remnant Stormtroopers, had killed both his parents, and destroyed his home. Taking his fathers blaster rifle he followed them back to town, and shot them at long range before they could reach the city gates. Later that day, on his way back, he was ambushed by Tusken Raiders and taken prisoner, but then the Raiders’ enclave was assaulted by some rebel troops, led by Master Kyle Katarn who were searching for an important force crystal, and a data pad that contained valuable information. Katarn took Rand and brought him back to the Jedi Academy, or he tried. On high orbit in Tatooine the shuttle they were on was ambushed by a small Remnant Corvette of unknown design. It was taken in a tractor beam and brought aboard the ship, and they escaped, but not without a price. For some reason, the Remnant took Rand. Katarn and the Commando Elite did their best to get him back, but against a battalion of enemy soldiers it was an impossible attempt. With a sober aura in the air, they left the ship back for the Jedi Academy; Katarn told Luke of the child who killed the bounty hunter and two soldiers that had been captured by The Remnant. The child was also very strong in the force.
The Remnant took Rand to a secret installation in a far away asteroid field out in the middle of nowhere, he found 99 other children of various races, though mostly human, there as well. They were trained to be the peak of physical ability, and they used the left over artificially infused force crystals from Dessan’s maniac quest, and advanced technology, to genetically enhance the subjects so they would become slightly stronger, slightly faster, have better vision, and most importantly, be much more aggressive. It was an attempt by the few people who are still, unreasonably, loyal to the ways of the empire to gain a foothold anywhere in the galaxy. Their experiments passed with flying colors; at the age of fifteen all of them had become twice as proficient as an elite Remnant Trooper. But some of those students, led by Rand, had other things in mind. Rand was sick of the Remnant's cruel treatment, leading several of the other subjects, they had to fight their way through the few who wanted to stay, and the rest of the Remnant to different shuttles which launched, scattering them all over the Galaxy. Rand was the first in the charge, and the last one to leave, making sure everyone would escape, he got onto his own solitary shuttle, and he’s never seen any of his old friends since.
He decided to track down Master Katarn, or he would die trying to find the only person he knew that was alive. During this time of isolation, he met the ace pilot, Corran Horn, who is a friend of Katarn and also a force Adept. Corran was on a special assignment, using both his piloting skills, and force ability to accomplish a special ops mission, rooting out a big crime lord. Rand decided to help this man; there was something about him that Rand liked. Corran stated two years later, after his mission was done, that he could not have accomplished the mission without Rand’s help.
After helping Corran , and learning how to be an ace pilot, Rand proceeded to use his skills to be a Bounty Hunter, after a year of this lifestyle, he finally afforded his own space craft, it was a Tri-wing. He would dock with larger ships to travel the galaxy, but he could still go places on his own, and his job abilities expanded, he became a wealthy man. With this, he bought his weapons and armor, he was one of the best, but he kept a low profile, he was near impossible to track, and never used his real name, and forged ID. Very few people know of his real existence.
A few years later some members of the New Republic assisted him out of deep trouble, and he learned ironically, that the New Republic was making their own soldiers, although with less enhancement and more civil treatment. He agreed to go there, and have more training. He learned they were started a long time ago as a plan to assassinate the Dark Lord, but now that he’s gone already, they were just going to be commando elites. When the Dark Lord had reigned, the plans of this were lost on Alderann, but they were found on the black market, believed to be the only copy, and the re-did the project. Because so few of the Remnant are left alive, it was a good way to wipe them out, without using too many resources. He left the training at the age of nineteen.
One day, when he was in high orbit over Korriban, Rogue Squadron was attempting to rescue a ship of a top diplomat, he debated whether to interfere, but it was Imperials who were attacking, he jumped in at the last moment to assist the endangered Rogue’s. The Diplomat gave him a large sum of money, from which he bought a hyperspace attachment for his ship, and he also met again, Corran Horn, and Wedge Antilles.
For a brief amount of time, he traveled with Rogue Squadron, and one day he asked the leader, (Wedge) if he’d ever heard of Master Katarn, he’d assumed Wedge would know the most. Jason said the name was familiar, but to ask Corran. So Rand asked Corran, who gave him the location of the Academy, visited the Academy, where he again met Katarn. (Rand was very happy, but very frustrated because he knew Corran before, he was the one who did the spec ops mission. And he could have found Kyle when he was helping Corran with the mission.) He spent a further two years training in combat, not with a light saber, but with his Vibro-sword, he became very proficient at using a melee weapon. Luke did not like him that much because of his dark side aura, but Katarn and his apprentice Jaden Korr both trusted him. He’s been a friend at the Academy, visiting now and then, but from the age of twenty-three, he’s been a mercenary for the New Republic, and friend of the academy for nearly eight years.

Special Abilities: His eyes have implants in them to allow him to see in infrared, detect force users, night vision, and other such types of vision, and when he uses these different visions his eyes will change color. His sunglasses, besides their unique color changing ability, have micro cameras in the back, so some of the time he can see what is behind him. He went through mild genetic enhancement, which makes him slightly stronger than a normal human being, but not by much. He is an expert soldier, and proficient at most any weapon you throw at him, including melee weapons.
Personality: As a result of his past, Rand has two different personalities, both on either end of the extreme. At times he can be loud, rude, cocky, and arrogant. He can act like he is better than everyone, and that they are all inferior to him. At this time he will be overly aggressive, and sometimes dangerous. Other time he can be quiet, refrained, serene, and he will speak with a melodic rhythm. This is a result of his training, the genetic enhancements were supposed to increase his aggressiveness, and he wants to be the best that he was made for, but at the same time he doesn’t want to be aggressive and rude, he wants to be the opposite.
Miscellaneous: The Cobalt Repeater is a large two handed, three barrelled rapid fire laser weapon. It is compatable with most types of energy. The bolt's it fires are blue.
(During the Remnant training, and artificial force enfacement, combined with the fact that Khoroth was already strong in the force, he has the force skill and control of a Jedi Knight. His training at the Academy went very quick, since the only thing they had to focus on mostly was his force control. Rand has a single bladed red saber he collected on one of his missions. The saber he built himself on one adventure after leaving the academy is a dual bladed saber. The handle can be unclipped into to separate sabers.)

Name: Fenix Tierce

Appearance: Average build, lanky with brown eyes and short cropped brown hair, military style. Pale skin, tall: 6"2 205 pounds.
Alighnment: Chaotic neutral
History: Fenix was the son of a bounty hunter named Alfein Tierce. Alfein was neutral in the galactic civil war, but usually worked for the Imperials. He was killed during the Thrawn Saga, leaving eight year old Fenix alone and helpless. Fenix fortuanantly manged to survive on his own and worked as a janitor on the ship The Lesure for ten years until he was found by two Jedi knights who were on a mission on The Lesure. The Knights realized that he was force sensitive, and that also his mind was close to the dark side. The knights thought that they could make him a jedi, and be able to bring him to the light side. They were wrong. Fenix became a padawan in Luke Skywalker's new Jedi order, and he trained hard for another ten years, eventually becoming a jedi Knight. Unfortuantly the Jedi were unable to bring Fenix to the light. And he fell to the darkside. He left the Jedi and used his skills as a Knight to become a powerful mercanary like his father.
Family/Friends: Has no real friends. but is greatly attached to his ship The Hyperion. Most of his family are dead or work for the Empire. The ones who are alive and still remember him he cut off all ties to.
Items: His light sabre, a heavy Flechette, and a Xeroll Night-Stinger sniper rifle. (A real weapon used in Timothy Zahn's books.)
Sabre Color: It was originally yellow, but he changed it to orange.
Special Abilites: Even though Fenix left the Jedi order he never sought out to become a sith. So as a result he does not know any sith abilites. he knows all of the Jedi moves, but he is especially good at manipulating people's minds. To the point of making them harm themselves and others, even friends or family. He can alsomind control multiple people at once. If they are weak enough.
Personality: Fenix is quick to anger, and has a sadicted sense of humor. he is very rash, and he has no people skills.
Miscellaneous: Fenix is afraid of hights, an he does not like to fly alot. Which is strange considering his foundness for his ship.

Khoroth's fighter came out of hyper space above Yavin 4. He reached up and swithced off several systems, and then took the controls and guided his fighter toward the planet. Reaching to his left he tapped some buttons and his fighter engadged the cloak it had implanet within it, while it looked the same to him, his fighter was invisible to both sensors and outside eyes. After arriving at the large moon, he sent his fighter into a very shallow desecent.

"Haha..." Khoroth laughed the rough laugh of a mercenary, "I was not on a mission, at least not as you would know. I was tracking a Hut smuggling ring on the planet, they were attempting to forge some Zcion missiles, highly powerful bio weapon, melts the skin, nasty stuff." He placed his helmet on the top of his fighter, and jumped off the ladder. "They were stopped, of course. Thanks to the Jedi. I hadn't been counting on your support." He said, now looking at the Master. "I do not know if you were in the group that raided the assembly plant, but I thank you regardless, the timing, as usuall, was perfect. I regret the loss of Jedi Knight Farren however, he had great potential."
"Ah I was sorry to have missed that raid. I heard it was quite exciting. Yes, it was a terrible loss to have lost Jedi Farren. We went on a mission once together to that planet... um.... can't remember it's name, but he ended up saving my life from some enraged locals. We will indeed grieve his loss. But on a lighter note, congradulations on your mission."
