Jedi Academy

((Naw I didn't go insane. The dude with the pics was just severely messed up. I've...delt with him hopefully. And refering to the Sith, that is what I had assumed. Like Qui-Gon telling Anakin no to kill the tuskens. He's not at the academy, did not pop into existence. He's still in play.)

Khoroth grinned stupidly, it reminded him of the expression a cocky Marine would give. "Yeah, I think so. You all fight like demons, damn good." He looked at Jisko. "Damn son, you got quick reflexes and the mind to boot. You're gonna make a great Jedi in time. I think either as a Guardian or a Sentinel. That blade is deadly in those hands. And you Jaeh, you're mind is a powerful one. It's under good control. You will become a wise being, Jedi or otherwise. Jisko, you're cunning. Physically above average, maybe for a Jedi, but nothing extraordinary, and you're not the wisest of them, but your mind is focused. You are cunning in a tactical sense. In battle. And you can adapt. Jedi talents, combined with that aptititude will make you a very hard man to kill, if not from your ability to overpower or out think oppoments, but from your ability to outthink them in combat. You three would make a very effective Tai-Kohn team. However it's not up to me, Luke has the call. As far as Jadell is concerned I've seen him slice through more troopers than I can count, and even dark Jedi."

Luke nodded. "Khoroth's explination may not be easy to understand, but it is accurate. You are all talented. You passed. When you first displayed your prowess during the recent Sith war, when Mordo and his allies assaulted Yavin, we took notice. You've been at the academy for years. You've been under the wing of several masters. Jadell, Kartan, Kor, me. Even Khoroth. As of now you are no longer padawans, you are Jedi Acolytes. Not quite Knights. You cannot train others, and you will not be assinged the higher profile missions, but you have surpassed the rank of student. Know that we are all students of the force, inculding me. However your names have changed. You are more independant. And, you have a mission awaiting."

Khoroth nodded, "Let me explain." He paused, and pulled out a holo-projector. A symbol, glowing red, formed in the air and rotated above it. "Zal-Kon. It's a rodian mining company, a very old one, with a very old and colorful history, like a lot of corporations out there. Rodians in general are not the most friendly race. Most of them being, smugglers, mercs, assasins. The mining company carries the trade-mark. Compared to a lot of places they are generally safe, compared to high quality companies like Correllian's Luster, they're dirty. They aren't the most honest corporation, and things are always going on in the dark. Recently though, there is a connection. Zal-Kon has tripled their productioin of pure irendium, a type of metal used in space ship armour. It's not the newest, but it's not out of date either. The metal has been going to a Correllian industrial company that produces parts for ships. I've looked into it, and niether company has been that revealing in information. Zal-Kon shot at me, and the Corellians can't find anything, though they are looking into it. The sheer scale of what's going on is huge, the amount of metal can produce a small fleet. And with no one knowing where it's going, we need to investigate. I think it's a dark cause, someone planning an attack somewhere. A newer design for a heavy assault version of a Blockade Runner was stolen a little less than a year back. We think someone is using both companies to make his own little private fleet. And we think they are someone with power. They got Zal-Kon to cooperate, though it wouldn't take much more than money, the companie's not honourable, but they got past Correllian security. We need to check things out." He placed the holo projector away. "Now, our first mission is going to be a Zal-Kon asteroid mining facility. We're going to infiltrate, posing as workers. I'll get into more specific detail about this specific mission once we're underway. Now, any questions?" He asked.

Jisko bowed when Khoroth complimented him, the only way to hide his blushing, grinning face, pride was his greatest weakness. He bowed even deeper when he heard of his promotion by Luke, and after Khoroth had finished he said, " Yes, but not about the mission, since I expect those to be answered once we're under way as you said. Well, I suppose I should ask Master Luke this, but what does he mean by 'new names'?"

Luke smiled at Jisko. "It means we are all students of life, and of the force, no matter how powerful we become. Invincible or not, we are all still just men and women. The rank of acolyte, no matter how important it is, and it is important, is still merely a name. No different than Jedi Master, or Jedi Knight. They are of vast respect, but in the scope of the Force, merely a word. You are now Acolytes, donned a new name."

"Oh, I thought you meant~" Jisko smiled at his own stupidity.

Raith just stood there, not even caring of the miss-mention of himself. He just watched, sitting against the wall rather solemly, watching them get donned 'new names' and such. He sighed, and placed his saber back on it's clip.

(Don't mind me 😛)

((Read rules a few pages back, we restarted. Then PM me your character sheet.))

Jaeh looked curiously at Raith. She had noticed his name wasn't mentioned, and she wanted to look at his reaction. She shrugged, and turned back to listen to Luke.

Then the Sith started talking again. She ignored the voice. But it kept playing over and over again in her mind. Jaeh frowned for a moment. But not listening was one of those things she's good at. So, she ignored everything, at least for the moment.

She grinned at being called a 'jedi acolyte'. She was proud of it, but didn't show it much.

"No other question Master Khoroth. And um..." SHe blushed. "Thanks for the.. um.. compliments."

Jadell also enjoyed the title of Jedi Acolyte. He found this all difficult to take in, however, and decided to listen to Jaeh's question before asking his own.

((i didn't have a question...))

Khoroth smiled, "No problem kid." He said, "To...all of you I guess. Sorry about the error in my analysis Raith, Jisko's got the "brawn", the agility, the physical power. You've got the tactical cunning. I'm a very powerful man, being a Jedi and a genetically enhanced soldier. Having the fighting skills and point of view from a Jedi, a Soldier, and a Merc, I can be pretty tough, and gew can stand against me, but if that went on you three probably would have won. Bluntly put, you guys impress and suprise me at the same time."

He pulled out a communicator, "Rayden, prep the Angelic Justice for launch." He set it away.

"So you're saying I don't have tactical cunning?" Jisko joked in an affronted tone and then laughed.

"Of course you do, your skill with a blade defines it, but it's not your strongest point." Khoroth nodded at Jisko, "Well, we should be off. If any of you wants to stay behind it will be appreciated. Jadell is coming, we would still prefer a Master to watch over you three." He said the last part with a but if amusement.

Luke spoke up, "Jadell!" He said. "You carry both the rank of Master and Acolyte. It may be confusing when either rank is appropriate, but when on mission you are an Acolyte, and only a master to the others with you, when not on mission you are purely a Master."

"'Well, I'll be going."

"We are ALL going." Khoroth said, "Today, in a few minutes." He started walking for the door, "We're taking Angelic Justice, it's a 80 crew medium sized ship, houses 10 fighters. Gather everything you need, I will be on the ship. Address any more questions you have to Luke, he will remain here." With that Khoroth left.

Jisko returned to his room and gathered a few prized possesions. He then boarded the ship.

"Cunning..."

Raith repeated, and stood up. He bowed to Master Luke, and left the room for his chambers, gathering anything he needed. He grabbed a different Crystal this time, and began to work on enhancing his saber. After a few moments, his saber was complete, and the blade shown completely Viridian. He had found this Crystal on Tatooine, when he was on a mission with another Master. He sighed, and quickly left the room, his saber at his side. He took the elevator to the hangar and arrived on the ship.

"I am ready Master Khoroth."
He bowed, and sat down in a seat.

Jisko, in the seat next to Raith, asked him, "So what did you think of that test?"

Darth Acheous had used the mind of jaeh to find out what they were doing."Captain Narva, send 3 star destroyers to are rodian friends. They will have some visitors who must be... taken care of." He walked over to the dark jedi council room and all the masters stood and bowed."Master Dhorakka, find our little friend and see to it that she is not harmed. I feel this will battle will show her what her true path in the galaxy is.Master Pontwa, let her understand that jedi "turned" on her because they thought she was with us. Master Randon, see to it that the jedi named raith I told you of gets the proper sith greeting he deserves. The boy wants power, tell him how to have it, refusal is death!"The sith lord had taken intrest in the jedi at that academy. He went to his new SUPER STAR DESTROYER to the DEATH STAR 3 wich had been carefully built under the nose of the new republic.

(Yes, I'm the only one Darth Acheous doesn't want to be turned!)
