"I think control of other stuff would be a good idea."

"Ok.. let's see.. how do i do it anyway..." Jaeh made Sunather's saber float up, then placed it gently down.

"Let's see... Calm yourself, and concentrate on it. Feel the force flow through you." Jaeh said, putting out her saber, and demonstrated it again, closing her eyes.

Sunather closed his eyes and concentrated very hard, as hard as he could, anyway. He tried to "feel the Force flow through" him as Jaeh described. He was getting slightly frustrated, and remembered that that causes lightning to blast out. That gave him an idea, concentrate what caused the lightning, that must be the force causing it. It worked! The lightsaber lifted about 3 inches, but Sunather was too busy concentrating to notice.

Jaeh whispered some small instructions. "don't be frustrated if you can't do it, because you are doing it." She smiled. "calm yourself... you can do it... i know you can... besides... the lightsaber's moving higher." Jaeh nodded. "Now, think about where you want it to move... left.. right.. down.. up... that kind of stuff..."

Sunather dropped the lightsaber when he opened his eyes to check if he really was doing something. He closed his eyes again and started lifting it and listening to the instructions, and it definitely worked, slowly but surely worked.

"Well.. there... you're doing it..." Jaeh said, smiling, proud of herself that she teached someone successfully... proud of sunather for doing it too of course... "What else do you want to know?"

"Well, I'd like to know how to do the high jumping thing, if you don't mind," Sunather said after setting his lightsaber down gently.

"oh.. that.." Jaeh said, and pulled on sunather. "come on.. lets get out of your room then. no place to jump here..."

"Okay," Sunather got up and followed Jaeh. He brought his lightsaber just in case.

Jaeh led him to the hangar. They both looked up and saw a balcony about 15 feet high.

"this is a good place i guess..." Jaeh remarked. "Let's see.. how do i do it again...?" She jumped up, then down again.

"Hmm.. okay. Concentrate on the force, and let it flow through you, like earlier. its hard to describe... you just have to think and concentrate on jumping on the balcony over there... you can do it." Jaeh said, then smiled sheepishly. "I'm not good at explaining stuff."

Sunather imagined springs under his feet. He jumped about 3 feet in the air, and fell on the ground again. He got up, and tried again, and got a little higher this time but still failed. Sunather decided to picture energy gathering around his feet, like rockets, and then a large amount of enegry being released, propelling him in the air. He got high enough, but didn't get on top. "Well, I sort of made it."

"Try again, this time, try to move forward when on top."

Sunather triend, and sure enough, he made it. He walked down the nearby stairs glad that he learned how to use the Force and that Jaeh taught him how. "Thanks, I think we need to rest, though. See ya later," he said. Sunather headed back to his room.

OOC: Powers finally! WOOT!

"No prob." Jaeh said, smiling. She went back to her own quarters too, and took some rest.

Nel was walking back to the temple when he got a urgent message from the ithorian elder, "Yes?" the ithorian elder was angry and told nel that the fighting has angered the forest, "Were sorry for the disrespect eld--..?!" Nel heard fighting on the main herd ship.. " elder!?" ....the elder said..there here the... yuuzh... the elder was killed and the line went dead... " oh no... this isnt good" he taped on his wrist com... " Evee?.."

Evee: yes? master what is it? "sound the alert! i suspect the yuuzhan vong are coming..." Evee sounded the alarm and told every one to get to the hanger, nel was on his way... he taped on his com again " evee get to your transport and tell every one we meet on yavin 4!" nel dashed to the hanger...

Jaeh woke up, jolted from the alarms she heard. "A fifteen-minute sleep? needed and so no enough, but i'll survive." she ran towards her a-wing.

Nel ran to the hanger bay... he told evee to get the transports to yavin 4, and told her he will meet her there... " may the force be with us..." ... he hoped into his starfighter, his mounted astro droid, R6-D4 greeted him... "Are-Six set coordinates for yavin 4 " ... A few shoots were fired as the yuuzhan vong ships landed... " lets get out of here..." ... Are- Six made a few beeps and sounds and the ship started to start up...

Sunather heard alarms while practicing moving objects with his mind. He started on his way to the hangar just in case there was supposed to be an escape for some reason or another.

Jaeh was about to jump into her cockpit when she saw Sunather. "Hey... jump in a ship or something. We're going back to yavin 4!" She adjusted her helmet and told her astrodroid to set the nav computer. The yuuzhan vong just got off their ships..

"Alright," Sunather ran to the inside of a transport, wondering what would happen next.
