I guess the looks are usually the reason you are attracted to someone in the first place, and then the personality is like a bonus and whatnot.

I don't like the word shallow.

When you see someone you want to date/know better, you always look at their looks first, it's natural. I mean, if you don't know them, there's no way you can judge their personality or other traits other than looks. srug
