anyways I'm dying to see Sin City... I'm prolly gonna c it next week #jumpy#...whats it about?
It's really about finding justice for it's main characters in a world where justice barely exists. The characters are mostly hitmen, corrupt cops, serial killers. There's three main stories that sort of intertwine, kind of like pulp fiction. One is about a guy, Micky Rourke, who wants vengance for the murder of his hooker. Another is abou Bruce Willis who devotes his life to protecting a kidnapped girl, Jessica Alba, and another is about a guy, Clive Owen, who kills a corrupt senator's son who is a serial killer and child rapist. Don't worry, there isn't any crazy wierd molestation scenes or anything like that, but I must say, Elijah Wood is sooooooooo freakin creepy in this film. He has the freakiest eyes and he always smiles, even when he's being tortured. It's nuts.

u mean the movie is in black and white?? why??
oh and is it supposed to be past, future or present?
I guess the comic was like that, black and white with some color. Basically Robert Rodriguez considers this film as a translation, not an adaptation, to the comic. But don't worry, it's not annoying that it's in black and white, it full of texture and it helps accentuate the moments where there is some color. There is one character who has yellow skin, it's soooooo freakin trippy. He almost looks like Gollum.
