they're roughly equal in that respect. they can both take a lot.
i just don't see colossus taking on hulk as well as thing has on
many occasions. thing has too much fighting smarts/experience.
colossus gets hwff'ed by thing.

Actually, he didn't. When you say "So-and-so is out of their league," the pronoun refers to the subject of the sentence. He is saying Colossus is out of his [Colossus's] league, meaning Thing is in a higher league.
