So then I submitted my battle scenario.

[Elektra]I come into the cage armed with my sai and shuriken. Once the cage doors close I toss a volley of shuriken at the old, cancer ridden Black Canary*; a shadow of her former self, but still game. I feel sorry for her and finish her quick with a sai to the throat. I hold her as the life drains out of her and apologize for the betrayal of her daughter for placing her in harms way in her condition, and I say that she was an honorable warrior in life and will have a place befitting a hero in the after life. Then I cross her arms on her chest and Spectre comes and carries her away; again.
(* - It was stipulated that it is the LATEST incarnation of a lover/relative, and due to Canary being dead, her latest living incarnation was that of a bed ridden women with cancer from her exposure to the same radiation that had killed her husband Larry Lance in the JSA's battle with Aquarius.
This was stated by Lady herself (pg. 48):

Also, this version of Black Canary has no sonic shriek; her daughter does. This version of Black Canary's special attack is a flock of Black Canaries that swarm her opponent after she says her chant:
"CHAMPIONS SMALL WITH MIDNIGHT WING,
FOE OF EVERY EVIL THING,
HEED MY CALL AND ARISE TO FLIGHT,
PROVE THE BLACK CANARY'S MIGHT!"
which wouldn't help inside of a cage; the birds can't get inside [it would be like a Hitchcock movie]
Max the attack dog could take her, even the young vibrant version of her in the leotard, jacket, and wig; she was just a normal woman with some martial arts skill and police training.)
Then, upon reading it, Lady said (in reaction to my post on the battle between Elektra & Black Canary, as well as quoting it) [pg 51]:
If you want to get that technical then I can just say that the latest incarnation of any character is a comic book. That way nobody wins.
Now, no, she never directly said she approved my character change our team leader submitted for me, but she did make a direct reference to the scenario I posted with the character she offered for me to substitute in. It may have been an oversight on her part, but considering not only does she refer directly to the character scenario, but also made numerous other posts afterwards, none of which diasallowed the character switch she herself offered, one can then deduce (not assume; deduce, as in deductive reasoning based on the evidence presented, not pre-conceived notions) that she approves because she referred to the character scenario, which included the character in question directly, and she did not disallow it then or in her successive posts.
If not, then I've submitted my alternate for her approval and I'm still waiting on Lady.
It's really of no consequence. Max could easily kill a middle aged woman in a cage, as well as the original powerless Canary, Dinah Drake-Lance, in her prime. He's taken out small groups of thugs that had broken into Punisher's Safehouse alone.
