All time best for me would have happened this last winter... X-Files DVD box sets 1 through 8... again. Course, I had the nice insurance check to help cover the purchase... that's what happens when basement pipes freeze over during the winter. Otherwise, I never would have pulled such a stunt 🙂
So, that equates to... 48 discs or 49 total. I think.
I'm not sure if anybody else here uses Columbia House dvd club, but if you do you probably know about the funcash deal of getting two dollars of funcash for every dvd you buy. Well I've had mine saved up for quite awhile and had almost $700 worth of funcash saved up so as I said in a previous post that the most dvd's i bought at one time was 33 I think...Well I more than doubled that record of 33 from using my funcash I had saved up, plus I had to pay for some of them also but only a few.
So it comes to a total of 67 movies I got in one sitting...

Jeez. In retrospect, I think I'm headed down the same road. Here's my deal, I'm self employed, working from home, and I only really "work" a couple of hours out of the week. I've been buying more and more as of late, both to resell and for myself. But yeah, most of what i get for me is technically "free", just because my profits from my resells go right back to my collection, and I essentially don't spend any of MY money on them.
Case in point:
Bought the OOP "The Munster's Revenge" yesterday for $3.95, sold it for $20. The $16 dollars profit bought me " The Toxic Avenger Unrated DC" and "Blast From the Past". It works beautifully.
