Mech's on the move...

As of April 4th, I start a new job in Reading. Yay!

I'll be moving down into a rented house alone, while Mrs.MM stays in B'ham to sell our house. I'll be back in B'ham on Tuesday evenings so I can go to Uni on Wednesday and then back again Friday night for the weekend.

Congrats again Mech! 🙂

I'm only making it public now I've had the all clear from my medical. I'm such a cynic, I was expecting something to go horribly wrong. Well to be fair its to be expected, as this has been going on since October (when I went for my first interview!).

I'm gonna have to leave my computer in B'ham till we move, so I'll only be on Wednesdays and the weekends. But once the house is sold I'm gonna dump this piece of crap and get something new: something that can go .5 past light speed. 😎

what is your new job?

I've got a Manufacturing Engineer position.

The company are gonna let me finish my degree and go back to study for a MSc if I want. They're also putting me straight into their in-house training scheme where I can become a Chartered Engineer (CEng), after which the world should be my lobster! 😄
