~first of all they really don't smell as long as you clean out their stalls pastures etc. second of all spear...your dog most likely eats horse. a lot of dog food has horse meat in it. thats what happens to most race horses when they retire. i went to an Equine Affair yesterday and this guy gave a really cool speech. he said that a lot of people think that horses r cowards and spook a everything. but when you ask a horse to do something it thinks is scary it makes a life or death decision. if its wrong it dies. in the wild horses wouldn't come into contact with things like dogs or large tractors. so they think their dangerous. and horses r animals of flight so the first thing they think is...run. so in real life when you think about it...they are very brave. and here's another thing to think about. its amazing that horses allow us to ride them. many people think that we force them to and they have no choice. but if they didn't want you to ride them then hate ta break it to ya you wouldn't last very long on its back! sorry...once i get started...i can't stop!~
