Question why are

Those DragonBall characters sooo dam strong and powerful, i just seen the whole dragonballz sagas from raditz to buu, these guys can destroy planets. who would stand a chance against these guys in comics, besides celestials and all powerfuls. why are they so strong.

Because they are childish cartoons that were meant to
be just mindless entertaining fighting.

They were never meant to be deeply characterized,
well-written stories.

Thus, every damned story is about another, bigger and
stronger villian threatening the world.

yeah......... could you imagine how crap it would be if Goku and co kept getting stronger but only had bank robbers to deal with.....
