So true, 😆

Cheers guys, at least you two know what I'm talking about.

Cheers 😄

Out of nowhere, but I'm assuming the TX's endo-skeleton had some type of magnetic field or force within the surface which enabled it to keep that liquid metal attached at all times.

That does make the most sense, which again gives it more weaknesses really.

I agree and it may have not been completely neccessary but it would have been nice if they explained that little bit to us about the TX. In T2 they had a few lines where Arnie explains to John the basic makings of the T-1000 but in T3 I didn't see them putting much effort into informing the audience on how the TX functions.

Yeah exactly, it was just some hot-chick-killer-cyborg... run !

I think that the T-X should have carried out her entire mission in the nude as she was when first sent back naughty - now I'm expanding like a mimetic pollyalloy! 😱

Well they might as well have done that anyway, it was strange enough having a bombshell terminator.

Yeah, lol

If she were chasing me I wouldn't be sure if I should quickly run away or stop and ask her for a date.

Hahaha

"Hey you feel like a movie sometime?"

*BA-BLAM*

😂

The TX is only attracted to police officers. 😉

Haha yeah.

i think TX is far more superior than T-1000.... why because TX has this anti terminator mechanism... that is when a TX touches a fellow terminator that terminator's circuit starts to heat up then kaboom!!! and the TX could also control other machines and same goes to other terminators..... also a plasma blast from the TX could make the T1000's body fully deformed thus the T1000 will have a hard time to morph in its original form giving the TX the time it needs to control it or destroy it for good.. surely the T1000 runs faster than the TX, has no metal endoskeleton and could morph into anything it wants but that doesnt help it to win against the TX.... because TX was made for heavy combat and who said that the TX cant run fast... remember the time when arnie, kate and john went to sarah's grave yard to get some heavy guns and then they suddenly met the TX, they rode a car while the TX runs after them and eventually the TX jumps ang gets on the hood of the car unlike the T1000 who just end up grabbing the bumpers at the back of the car because he cant keep up lolz.... and so what if the T1000 could morph into anything to penetrate small openings what if someone sees it while its morphing then they would blew its cover and coz panic unlike the TX who just needs to blend with the environment and use her simple computer techniques to enter institutions smoothly without anyone suspecting that someone has already infiltrated them,,and think about this what if TX became self aware and started to control everything and ends up sticking her pointy finger into skynet's system???......

i also wondered why TX had an endoskeleleton knowing well that first terminator was a failure because of that flaw and instead why not bring T1000 which everyone says is more capable...... my theory is that since the machines already knew that the two terminator they sent; cybernetic organism (living tissue over metal) was a failure and same goes to liquid metal type T1000... the computer must have known that the resistance was also sending altered terminators to protect there should be targets that keeps them from succeeding.... so maybe the computer thought of a way to remove this obstacle by designing a terminator that has both the qualities of the first 2 terminators to increase there success rate and has the ability of destroyin other terminator... as you can see TX has an endoskeleton like the first terminator and a morphing liquid metal over it just like the T1000 (but not excatly) and it has the ability to control other machines and transmit impulses that would make other machines unstable and explode..... thats what i think... i guess

i would have to agree and which to you find to have a bigger cool factor cause i think the t-1000 in t2 seemed alot more cool and evil like...then the female tx in t3

Good points all round.

I still however can't help but feel that the T-1000 has a far greater range of combat options than the T-X, and despite the T-X 'anti-terminator' quality, the T-1000 would win. Hard point to justify without physically putting them head to head.

there are so many points that i have discussed before, but to conclude myself i would say that tx would win in a 1 on 1 battle, only marginaly. and i certainly beleive the t1000 would have been more challenging for john connor and kate brewster in t3

Ive said it before and i'll say it again...

That STUPID chopper did the T-X, no way the T-1000 would get totalled like that.

according to a site that i have just read the main weakness that lead the T1000 to its defeat is its pure liquid metal form (which everybody says that it its primary strength) it is said that its design was a failure because its body would often absorb a lot of enormous amount of physical damage but was lest robust than the solid skeleton of T101 (im talking about the structural strength not the physical strength) thats why they send TX a combination of T101 and T1000's design because now they knew that a skeleton is needed for a terminator to make it more powerful and robust (but one is certain the skeleton of TX is stronger than T101 that is why T101 chooses to let itself explode because it knew that its still no match for the TX despite the TX's condition).... one thing bothers me and that is why did they name TX "TX" my theory is that The meaning of "X" in TX is disputed. One interpretation is that it denotes "experimental". This implies that the TX was deployed before it's development was completed. Presumably due to the urgency of the machines' strategic situation. because of this theory... i often wonder what if a complete type of TX was sent to the past?? what would happen then??

An argument about TX vs T1000
T1000-In a revolutionary design change, the T1000 was made out of mimetic metal alloy, more popularly known as liquid metal. This was a development of the alloy nitinol which exhibited shape memory and would automatically revert to it's original shape when heated. Liquid metal was necessary as the T1000 was designed to mimic the body and face of any human. This made it a better infiltrator than the T101. Liquid metal made the T1000 a deadly unarmed fighter. Human resistance fighters would let their guard down when confronted with a weaponless human-looking T1000, only to be killed with the various edged weapons that a T1000 could form out of its liquid metal arms. Together with increased strength, this allowed the T1000 to be physically smaller, more average-human in size, yet deadlier, than a T101. As a side effect, the T1000 could absorb damage and regenerate more quickly than the T101. It could also pour itself through openings too small to admit a T101, giving new meaning to the term "infiltrator". The successful T101 software was upgraded for the T1000, with one notable modification. The T101 had a disturbing tendency to crack one-line jokes and this was removed from the T1000. The T101 could already mimic human voices so this capability did not have to be added for the T1000. Despite its success as an infiltrator, the T1000 did not fare well in the rare instances it was pitted against the less advanced T101. Its main weakness was its liquid metal construction, which could absorb enormous amounts of physical punishment, but was ultimately less robust than the solid skeleton of the T101. Note that this is structural strength, as the T1000 is otherwise stronger than the T101. it was rare for the T1000 to come up against the T101 because a T101 had first to be captured intact and then reprogrammed by the human resistance and turned against its own kind. However, the cost of failure to the machines for one critical T1000 versus T101 mission was too high. A new Terminator was required.
TX-Learning from the failure of the T1000, the TX was designed to combine the versatility of the liquid metal T1000 with the robustness of the old tried and true T101. A solid skeleton in the form of a conventional combat chassis was combined with a liquid metal shell. A solid skeleton was now seen as essential. In one encounter with a T101, the limited explosive power of a grenade was sufficient to push a T1000 to the edge of destruction. In contrast, in a similar encounter between humans and a T101, the T101 was crippled but not destroyed by a more powerful homemade pipe bomb. Combining a solid skeleton with liquid metal meant that the TX was less plastic than the T1000 and could not mould itself into arbitrary shapes or pour itself through small openings. This was considered to be a worthwhile design trade-off. The TX is the first known Terminator to make use of nanotechnology. Its hands are nano machines that can transform into a variety of firearms including its favored plasma gun. It can even control other machines. Unfortunately, like the liquid metal technology in the T1000, this revolutionary technology ultimately proved to be too fragile for the extreme combat encountered in Terminator versus Terminator missions. In a final encounter between a TX and a T101, only the basic combat chassis of the TX survived a helicopter crash. Both its liquid metal and nanotechnology systems were destroyed, leaving the TX to fight the T101 with brute mechanical force. Because the TX is more robust than a T1000, this time the T101 did not escape lightly (unlike a previous encounter between a T101 and a T1000). It could only destroy the TX (creatively making use of its flawed CRS fuel cell) by destroying itself in the process. Final victory went to the T101 as in doing so it still managed to accomplish it's mission. While they can mimic any human form, both the TX and the T1000 have a default configuration in which they are most capable. Belatedly realising that humans are less willing to kill females of their species, the default configuration of the TX is that of an attractive young woman. The previous Terminators were male in appearance as most of the human resistance fighters they were designed to mimic were male. Aside from its gender, from outward appearances there is little to distinguish the TX from the T1000. The TX is commonly mistaken for a pure liquid metal design similar to the T1000. The meaning of "X" in TX is disputed. One interpretation is that it denotes "experimental". This implies that the TX was deployed before it's development was completed. Presumably due to the urgency of the machines' strategic situation. Since the TX was the first Terminator designed to destroy other Terminators (especially T101s), an alternative explanation is that TX stands for Terminator eXterminator. It would then represent a fork in the design tree, separate from the numeric T series which are designed to kill humans.
What would happen if they would clash??
The T1000 could use its stabbing arms to destroy the TX’s body in return the TX’s body receives the damage but not strong enough that it could destroy its endoskeleton (the TX’s endoskeleton is tougher than T101) the parts that was damaged would only return to its normal form with the help of its liquid metal alloy. The TX then starts to throw some punches to T1000 (which we all know is very strong as what we saw in T3, one slight push of the TX could throw terminator miles back) but the T1000 could evade the punches from TX by simply morphing into a liquid and holding the TX body so that it could throw a series of punches to it but unfortunately it wouldn’t scratch the TX; stabbing it will have no effect because it would only return into its normal form not unless T1000 could stab its skeleton which unfortunately will never happen because TX endosekeleton is designed to be strong and hard enough to deal with any damage. The TX will then used its plasma cannon. A blast from it could send the nanobots in the liquid metal of T1000 to become unstable (I think its alloy is made up of nanobots which controls the alloy to morph into anything or in short those nanobots serves as the T1000’s computer system; a liquid metal wont ever act alone) thus temporarily stopping the actions of T1000 giving the TX the time it needs to control it or destroy it
