Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six/Ghost Recon RPG

Oh by the way....this RPG is played in a first-person perspective, not third. Forgot to mention that.

As I said, this is where operation castle takes place. We're going in from the SW entrance. The bomb is somewhere in the tower ruins in the NE corner of the castle. Houses are: slightly south of the tower ruins, and north of the SW entrance.

Be advised that the walls and turrets are walkable on and can be used to traverse the site in short time and in relative safety. My advice is that we use the walls to snipe and pick off whoever we can all around the perimeter and then move in from the turret closest to the ruins.

Any suggestions, people?

Sure I guess. This RPG is all first-person though, remember that. It's my first cutscene so the plot will be corny. Oh well. 😮

The team is now officially assembled, lady and gentlemen.

Now, if I may introduce you to our first deployment, one which will truly test your skills: Operation CASTLE.

In the aftermath of the southern Peruvian scandals and firefights, south African terrorists are planning another act of terror: they are in possesion of a deadly C4 plastique explosive device, and hoarding a cache of nearly $100,000,000 USA in south asian Yen currency.

One of their members anonymously tipped us off, but the transmission was cut off in midpacket; most likely he was discovered and executed.
His intelligience informed us that the terrorists were planning to set up camp in a remote Scottish castle several miles south of the town of Elgin. We did a spy-jet flyby, and indeed, the ruins of a castle came into clear view, with several thermal signatures moving about.

Team Rainbow will be deployed at the site of this secret uprising, and have direct orders to kill them if possible. Level 3 rules of engagement.

"Yes..." X piped up "Are we all going in together or will we have certain routes and teams to take, and plus what if we're caught or discovered?" He was thrilled to be doing this he loved adventure!

NOTE --- Remember, this is a FIRST PERSON rpg, not third. Most are third. I decided to make this one a first-person POV.

"Level 3?" I ask, looking at the commander.

Glancing at X, I tell him, "We still need to plan that. We're the combat experts - not the info guys."

"personally, i would like some stealth people to go in find and find out where the bomb is so i dont have to spend all my time findin it, i can just defuse it"

"That's why we have magnetic goggles, Tank," I told him. "And Trickster, level three rules of engagement means that the hostiles will fire upon you without hesitation and full retaliation is authorized."

I took out a satellite flyby map.

"We will go in from the SW entrance, see the path there? Red team will go along the wall, sniping any sighted terrorists. Blue team holds position in the ditch/depression just to the right of the entrance. With red covering, Blue team proceeds immediately to the first house nearest to the entrance and does a quick shoot and search. Red goes along the north wall then and snipes southwards and near the ruins. Blue team, while red is keeping their heads down, will go north ten meters to the next cabin, shoot/search there.
"Then blue team will go up into the NW turret and join red team. Blue will recon the NE turret(closest to the ruins site) and make sure it's saft for red team. Both blue and red will search the ruins, and finally neutralize the last house twenty meters to the south. Any other suggestions, people?"

Deadeye evening the wide, yet thin and not so big in height oval glasses without a frame nodded. "I say that the Red Team could come in from the SW entrance, making a diversion, then my team comes into the south left entrance sleathily and does a quick cleaning in the nearest house, and then snipe then sleathily run behind the soldiers which are too busy fighting the Red Team, to get them surrounded, then we kill those soldiers and guards, and both teams proceed to the other houses, and then neutralise the ruins"

I shrugged and nodded.
"So be it. Blue team, be extra careful in watching your flanks, they may have posted guards outside the perimeter walls. Red team should camp out on the middle of the west wall, they should carry extra ammo for suppressing fire."

Before I rolled up the map again, I looked around. "Any other suggestions?"

X brushed his pony tail aside and looked around to see if anyone would speak up.

I thought for a minute: "X, switch teams with Tank. That way, Blue can escort Tank to the ruins. X is better at sniping, so he'll be useful along the walltop with Red team."

Shrugging I speak up,
"So what about this - if Red takes the wall from the south-west, and takes out those two guards by the south-east entrance, Blue has a free run in to the first house, and from there a lot of cover to take out the other grounds guards..." I glance at Deadeye, "But of course, it's your team that would be in danger. Your choice."

"Trickster, those are the positions of known guards," I told him. "We had beter not assume anything yet; they could be anywhere, most likely inside the houses. Trickster,
"My job is to guide you to your objective. However, it's the team's desicion on how to tackle this best. You'd better debate with Deadeye first."

"...Wouldn't that cause commotion? THe guards on the north would come up, and like he said, there are some guards that weren't pictured here..."

"All I can say that the best way of transportation would be the walltops," I reminded everyone. "Maybe...if both red and blue teams go from the west wall all the way around to the NE turret and storm the ruins, we could hold position and let Tank here disarm while everyone else covers."

"as long as i got some cover, i'm fine. the rest of my team could cover at me at the ruins, and red team could cover from a tower somewhere else. so we have a whole view of what's going on. i dunno, as long as i can get to it and disarm it, im fine." i said

"A private flight will take us to London, where a Military class troop transport helicopter will drop us off ten miles from the site. After that, a transport truck will drop us off nice and silent a kilometer from the site." I told him. "After that, we'll have to hike on foot through a bit of forest loam until we get there."
