Thanos W/ HOTU VS. Spectre Full Power and Team

I just got finished reading through The End, and Thanos is damn powerful, I'd like to see him go against some of DC's higher class entities.

Thanos w/ HOTU is essentially the TOAA. No contest.

THanos with HOTU will beat everyone in DC.

In my mind this fight would like infinite disgruntled peewee football coaches forearm checking infinite children running for infinite endzones.

Spectre is as powerful as the Presence wants him to be... if he is involved that means that the Presence told him to get involved and he would have enough power to beat Thanos.

Thanos w/HOTU. He's basically TOAA. I didn't see the Presence on the Spectre team roster, and there is no outside influences. Even if the Presence empowered him, that doesn't guarantee victory.

Spectre wouldnt be involved unless the Presence had him get involved.

Spectre acts independently of the Presence. The Presence is not in this fight.

Are you saying thats how he really is? Or are you saying thats how it is in this thread? If thats how it is in this thread, Sentry needs to say that... not you. But thats NOT how it is in the DC Universe. You need to read more on the Spectre if thats what you think.

Spectre full power is acting on what the Presence says. Thus that's his true power. Whatever the Presence says goes. But, even with the permission of the Presence, he will be defeated imo. Spectre is only the wrath or hand of god, not god himself. Thanos with THOTU is god, and only the Presence itself or the TOAA will be able to stop him. Not Spectre.

Sentry and Cosmic Cube are right. Thanos w/HOTU is basically on par with TOAA and The Presence. That means that the Presence would have to give The Spectre ALL of his almighty power just to be on par with Thanos, and even with that, it still doesnt guarantee victory.

Even an unpowered lucifer by himself would be able to use his wits to talk thanos into killing himself

actually Thanos doesn't equal the TOAA because he cannot really comprehend how to use his powers to their full extent. THe PResence and TOAA know how to use them to fullest of the ability. Even in a billion years of experience wouldn't endow him with that ability. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

Yeah but does that mean he cant beat the opposition who also dont hav that knowledge and experience? No i dont think it does.

but he can't like know what to do with it. like a baby with a loaded gun, he is just as likely to accidently shoot himself as he will others.

Like Presence could just give him the full potential of Spectre. that would make him omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. but nowadays those powers seem to be given to everyone on whim.

yeah but as when thanos had the infinity gauntlet and he was fighting the abstract beings who without a doubt had more knowledge and experience than he. When u wield virtually infinite power that doesnt matter you will prevail eventually just because u hav the power. As thanos did in that battle. That was just wiv the infinity g. With the HOTU he actually will hav totally infinite power so he will be able to take them all out. Blink them out of existence. Id say wielding the gauntlet would have given him a gd taster and a bit of experience when it comes to HOTU

Lucifer, Micheal, Imperiux, and Anti-Monitor(?!) stand no chance. they arent even above LT, much less the HOTU. Thanos is one of the few people who knew that the Infinity Gems could be used contiguously as the Infinity Gauntlet. Knowledge is not a limitation.

Amen. The spectre(hal jordan) only uses 50% of the spectres powers and wouldn't stand a chance against thanos w/hotu he will ripe them apart from each other and kick hal jordan to hell in a hand basket. He will suck the life force out of anti-monitor and imperiux and use their body armor for his collection.
