Confused?

after reading the fifth book i have found that there is a big screw up in them.
at the start of the fifth book when Harry gets to skool finally it says he can see the horse tings because he saw cedric die but harry watched his parents die when he was one year old
if i'm wrong please tell me

When I read that I realised it also but I remember in the book it saying something about only being able to see the thestrals (sp?) once seeing the death of someone has sunk in or something like that 😖

Is this only about book 5? If not in book 4, when Harry,ron, Hermy, get surrounded by Ministry wizards in the Dark Mark chapter, the wizards try to stufy them, but shouldnt the wizards been hit by one another's beams?

i also found that rather strange they way his mum was killed in themovie shows us that harry saw the whole thing ... but only when he witnessed cedrics death in bk 4 could he see them ???

yeah, i never got that. But when his parents died didnt his dad die first and then his mom. So, when the echos came out and his dad was first and his mom second that was wrong

He just saw the green light remember
he was prob on his back looking into the ceiling

well, also it probably did not register in harry's mind what exactly is going on. i mean children's thoughts...especially only a one year old one, probably will not remember it. i mean, when you're older (like luna when she was 7 i think it was), you'll never forget someone snuffing it infront of your eyes. i mean his whole life harry will never forget cedric dying. i also think its the sense of horror and loss the death you SEE inspired. that dreading feeling i think also helps people see the thestrals. i duno i mean honestly how many of you can vividly recall details from when you were one year old?

you probably would but i agree with LadySly...Harry would probably hear screams and the only thing he might see are just flashes of light from Voldemort......it wont be clear to him tho....i dont think he'll remember every little detail like how he remembers Cedrics...thats probly the reason why he saw the thresals (sp...) when he did...and not earlier.....the death of someone has to be clear in your mind i guess...

There was a muck up in the making of da books....I have the wrong book and the fixed one Its just a muck up in the publishing of it 😄

But wats weird is harry didnt see da threastles at the end of book 4 when they made there way back 2 hogsmede station 😑

yep i noticed that to .. but i read some where that she didnt write bout them because it was the end of a book and the beginning of a new discovery
