The OTF Question!

Ive seen some odd threads but ppl still respond to them. So just because someone is grouchy and didnt like it therefore is CRAP? come on! have fun! dont be so uptight. 🙂

What would happen if I would click on report button on this thread?

Most browsers have this thing called a "back" button. If you think a thread is crap, you can press this button, and suddenly, you will no longer be reading the thread. No moderation required.

despite popular believe, the forums have to obey RULES, you know ... like THE LAW 🙄

IF we have a mod, I think we'll need a few--regulars who are on fairly regularly, who are at the OTF regularly.

All the modding will be handled by the global mods.

I think that we need another OTF; but that one would have all those stupid threads; so if there's a stupid thread mods just move it there instead of deleting it; then I think everyone would be happy; and no one would lose thread he/she likes

that's number one asking for a mod already 😄

The first option is:

"Close all the crap threads. Keep it highly moderated - just like any of the other forums."

Now I mostly hang out in the comic forums (which don't have their own moderators), and I admit I haven't been here long, but I've never seen a forum closed because a moderator decided it was "crap." Am I correct in thinking that that doesn't happen very often? And if it doesn't, why should the OTF be an exception?

At the end of the day, every thread eventually deteriorates into the same group of people talking about themselves and goes completely off topic. All threads should be binned after 2 weeks to keep things fresh.

You'd be surprised by the utter crap that can be at this place. And MOST of the utter crap has been made already, but that's another problem altogther.

I think we should require Raz and Silv Tears to think up and make atleast 1 thread a day. Razzes are by far the best and most unique, but Silv's aren't far behind.

I hate going into the pad just on pure principle...but it does have some of the most interesting threads in it.

TH shoulda saved the Ugly Chicks thread for the Pad.

uh...no. first of all, people shouldn't be forced to make a thread. you make them when you want to. and second, after a while, they'd end up making BS threads as well.
