Exactly. So why do people on this thread compare his "early" costume to the one he wore in the "later" phases? I find this a bit more realistic to tell you the truth. If it's the prototype, it's bound to improve with time.
Not saying you shouldn't say it sucks, but not that it sucks in comparison with other outfits in other movies/series 😉

Its another one of the great mysterys of KMC, along with the versus Threads.
Polymer. Rubber. As long as the bat can fly, or gently float down or whatever (He does the REAL flying with the Bat Jet), without having a cheap add-on in order to pull off the stunt (What ruined returned). In BATMAN the rubber wings were nice, but he could never REALLY glide. He could jump down two feet and have his rubber wings expand but he's as good as dead when jumping off of a ten-story building in that getup. I haven't seen "Begins" yet, but I hope his speed is at least reduced a BIT by the wings and they truly are scientifically aerodynamic and work that way in real life without a cheap, add-on stunt wings. A man can fly.. and be like a "Bat Man".. with a man-made idea (Leonardo De Vinci).. Bob Kane would be proud.

Looks more like hummer. I think the Batmobile is ****ing awesome and something that can be used effectively in TODAYS world and not an inefficient car with all the looks and no performance. The original BATMAN movie was cool, it’s like a Batman that takes place in “1940-1949”. “Batman Begins” goes in a different direction, it’s morel like a movie that takes place in “2010-219” (Scarecrow’s technology) so he needs an updated ride.

People compare it because it sucks. Dare to compare. No matter what you say. Nothing will stop people who go to the movies “For fun”.. who are like into, rap music or something.. from saying “It sucks” and deciding not to see the movie.
“Year One” was cool but I’m sick of people always starting up a Batman series and never having the dick to end it unless if it’s like.. a series that has a comic released twice a week and is done in a month after ten comics. Those are cheap and gay. I know a comic should have at LEAST ten issues or more and go on for at least a year but over all it MUST have an ENDING. If it ended and didn’t have an ending don’t feed me that “Fan Fiction” bullshit. If it wasn’t good enough to have a REAL ending and not one of THOSE

The Bat Man should have one and only one costume. If you want “Improvements” then go BEYOND. “Realistic”? I’m DAMNED sure that the first batman costumes were “Real” and were a form of matter that took up space, and was scientifically possible in real life. If it was man made, it’s real. Man can make anything. Mostly. The batsuits are possible, though.
