I was Dismayed To find that there is no thread about The Doors!

Anyway i do my best to put these sort of musical injustices right..

So i give you The Doors..

The Doors are my number 1 band and always will be, I totally love their music. Peace Frog is such a funky song, love all their albums.

Think they're quite overrated honestly.

Why do you think they are overrated?

Because I think alot of people give them infinite amounts of credit when they don't deserve that kind of praise IMO. They were a good band, I personally don't think they were anything more than that.

I would not mind being overrated..

I quite like the Doors. In fact I have a photo of Jim Morrisons famous leather trousers on my wall (taken by me). Possibly my fave story about Jim is when he was arrested for 'indecent exposure' during a show, and when his girlfriend asked him why he'd done it, he replied 'Honey, I just wanted to see what it looked like in the light'.

Doors are cool. Not my fave, but cool.

The Doors kicked! It'd be interesting where they'd be today if Jim hadn't died...

i love the Doors and have to agree with AC that they are overrated.
