You now how he did that? GL had it before him and gave it to Surver cause he couldnt control it. Oh and by the way he had to physically touch him to drain it. Kyle let him do it, and Kyle was very inexperienced at the time that crossover was written.

SS absorbed the energy itself.

Maybe he can't absorb it out of the ring, but so what?

In a fight GL will have to use it on SS, and when he does,
SS will absorb it when he touches the enrgy itself.

Well I have not read it in a few years. But the fact is that Kyle can absorb energy just like Surfer can. He was too inexperienced to hold all of the power at that time.

Surefer can even react and even THINK at greater than light speeds! One or two GL's it doesn't matter. They will never hit him. No one in the JLA will.

I already said, that's not just Kyle, it's Parralax. He was not inexperienced, his body couldn't take in all of the energy.

Well there is a difference between phasing and becoming intangible. MM can become intangible and Flash can phase, its not the same thing.

Your right his body couldnt but the ring could. He just didnt know how to do it yet. Kyle has no training with his ring, he was just handed the ring with no instructions.

Lets do it this way. Give me a instance where Surfer was completely intangible where any objects could pass through him. Phasing means you pass through the object and intangble means the object can pass through you or vice versa it goes both ways. Flash can phase though objects but If i throw a rock at him it will hurt him and not go through him. You understand?
