Telepathy; Violence?

Do you think that making someone stop doing whatever they are doing by using telepathy is violence?

This doesn't mkae much sense the way its worded. Is it using telepathy to stop a violent act or using violence in the form of telepathy to stop a violent act? Or is it completely a different idea?

Xavier thinks so. He doesn't do it, even with the worst villians.

Oh, I think I get it now...I don't know....that's an interesting question....I don't think it's violence as much as it is violating rights and freedoms. It depends on the context I suppose.

The idea of telepathy used in probing people's minds itself is a privacy violation. Submission is worse. The Shadow King is a great example of sadistic use of this ability when he resculptured people's minds into animalistic tendencies or even for lustful desires.

i think it is if it causes the evil doer pain if no pain no vilolence

but thats saying...if you shoot someone point blank in the head....it's not violece, cos they wouldnt feel any pain...^__^

nope....beacuse, the body goes into shock mode...for a few seconds, and you dun feel anything....and then the pain kciks in...but in this case, you'd be dead before the shock subsides, thus..no pain....^__^..wow..i think that was a good explanation

T.P can be violent, but i believe it can be non violent too... a mind wipe would be violent, calming someone wouldnt...
