They are the book form of anime. A lot of the time the manga comes before the anime. You can buy them at Borders or Barns & Noble, they cost $10 each...kinda spendy. Though they are very good to read. Don't worry it isn't heavy reading either...its comic book like 😉
Wow! They changed the .hack//Legend of the Twilight a lot when they made it into an anime!! I just bought the three manga books they have for that series...book one was just like the anime cept for the change of where Shugo and Rena lived.
Then book two threw in a whole bunch of changes. It was really cool to read something different than I was exepecting. Though I do have a problem with what they did! Remeber Reki, Balmug's assistant? They made him out to be the bad guy in the anime...when he was NO WHERE near being a traitor in the manga! That irritated me just a bit!
But all in all I must say I am very happy to have read the manga version. Its a cute story! I would definently recommend that you read it even if you have watched the anime! 🙂
