Land of the Dead - *Release Date Changed*

OMG! I want to see this movie so bad

Have to wait till 9th September here in the UK, you bastards!!!!

Seen it already. U can read what i thought about it in thread titled, "Advance Screening of LoD"

I heard it was to be released in the UK on July 29th, but another site says it is 05/08. anyone got a definitive answer?

IMDB says 9th Sept and the site is usually right when it comes to release dates.

There is no official rating yet for Land of the Dead yet either.

I'm going to go see it tonight at the midnight showing! I can't wait!

Thats 3 different sources there so that pretty much confirms it 9th of September will be the release date in the UK, Why are we the last country to get it?

We need to campaign, to get the release date in the UK brought forward, send e-mails to whoever is responsible, i dont know who is but i will find out, if any one has any info on how to do this post it here...............

Yep 9th September is suppose to be the official date according to the BBFC. But they have yet to rate it, haven't seen it yet.

I was all ready to see Land of the Dead tonight but because I took a vacation to Pennsylvania I am no longer able to see it......where I live in Florida our movie theater plays 16 movies but where I'm satying in PA there movie theater only plays 4 movies! all of which are not Land of the Dead!!!!! and the next nearest theater is 2 hrs away......talk about bum f**k nowhere. I didn't mind it when the theater didn't play High Tension on its opening weekend but now that they aren't playing Land of the Dead, we'll Im off to shoot up the town..........

who is responsible for british release dates, we need to e-mail them to get them to bring the date forward, its 2.5 months after the us date, that is a f@cking outrage

And it got a 15 certificate official here in the UK. Must be relaxing a lot in the gore department now here.

Is there a purpose to rating a movie a couple of months before its released, this leads me to believe they will move it forward a month or 2 hopefully.

Well they rated Dark Water in June and that comes out here in July 22nd I think, and they have rated Land of the Dead in June too but the same people say it is probably released in September. So lets hope they are wrong...

I'm going to drive 2 hrs today to see this movie......why you ask?......well why do Star War geeks flok by the thousands every time another movie comes out......
