Why aren't all the cable news stations climbing all over the conviction of Eric Rudolph ?

Rudolph pleaded guilty Wednesday to bombing 1996 Atlanta Olympics and three other attacks. He said he picked the Olypmics in order to," embarrass the U.S. government in front of the world for its abominable sanctioning of abortion on demand.”

This guy killed two people and injured 120. He has admitted or proven to have ties with White Supremacist organizations and anti-semitic beliefs. There is a "war on terrorism", but shouldn't this also include "homegrown" terrorism?

How can the press not be all over this? This man believes that innocents who get killed for his cause are justified, he is anti-abortion, he hates gays, and believe in the "culture of life". Hey...that sounds familiar..........

It does indeed sound like blatant hypocrisy on all levels....
The defendant siting pro-life arguments as justification for murder...
And the government, as you point out, going postal on "Terror" on everyones elses porch, yet trying to sweep its own under the porch rug.... 🙁

Not to mention that his anti-abortion, less than favourable opinon of the gay lifestyle and his belief in the "culture of life" is very republican in nature 😉

I'm from North carolina, where he was hiding for all those years. An ex of mine lived in western NC, near AShville. When Eric Rudolph began living in the wilderness, he actually broke into several homes; one of which was my boyfriend and his father's home. They got home and found the front door standing open and there was food, toilet paper and blankets missing from the house.
