I knew someone was gonna bring that up. Look, Boba Fett was killed accidentally by Han. There was no skill involved in that, just bad script writing by GL that led to the death of the best bounty hunter of the time in a ridiculous fashion.

Obviously, Han would not have that same opportunity against Jango.
