While people are talking they use speech centres on the left side of the brain... this makes muscles on the right side move...(left hemisphere controls the right hand side of your body.. and right hemisphere controls left hand side of your body)
So when you talk you use the left hemisphere of your brain this stimulates the muscles on the right hand side... so.... if you watch someone talking you should see them moving their right hand more..
Interesting concept, but not entirely true.
The main reason why you make physical motions, with especially your hands, is to keep yourself focused on what you are telling. You animate the events in your story with your hands as a memory backup.
The left/right hemisphere brain-areas have got little to do with that. I'm left handed and use my left hand way more when I'm talking, and not my right hand. Despite the influence my right brain-hemisphere might have, the favor of using my left hand overrules.
The motions you make are not for your audience, you unwarely make them to assist yourself.

I'm left handed to and I use my left hand more because with left handed people the left hemisphere controls the left hand side muscles and the right hemisphere the right muscles.
I'm sure it is to assist yourself but this is also the reason you move your hands ✅
