That article is from 2005.

To answer your question...

"Exactly 25 years ago, on August 17, 1982, Royal Philips Electronics manufactured the world's first compact disc at a Philips factory in Langenhagen, just outside of Hanover, Germany."

Now for my question.

What is the famous equation below called?

Bonus:

What is the sister equation of the one of above called?

Looks like I found the answer with the help from Alliance, well at least the bonus question.

Quantum Tunnelling

BRAVO!!! 😄

It was the Schodinger's equation AND the sister equation was the one dimensional time independant Schrodinger equation! (They are not quite as famous as Einsteins E=mc^2...but still, pretty damn famous.)

Pennslyvania made the first Vanity License plate in 1931.

Next question...

In the medical world...what is it called when your body starts to break down its own proteins(muscle usually) for energy? (This is one of my favorite words because it just sounds badass.)

Unanswered, please fill us in.

Meanwhile, next question;

Concerning piracy, what intentions did a red flag declare?

that meant it was fixing to be on like Donkey Kong.

There was two wasn't there.. a red and a black..

A red flag would mean that they wouldn't be taking any prisoners, basically it was an indication that they were to kill all the people they were fighting.

Thats if I am thinking of the same flag that you are.. 😖

Arrr, most correct sir!

Fairly easy one; what fuel do they use to propel spacecraft, like the shuttle? And how does this work?

Propellant fuel is liquid hydrogen and the oxidiser is liquid oxygen. The propellant is carried in separate tanks in the external tank and supplied to the main engines under pressure.

Google... but is it right? I have no clue 🙂

Sorry for the skipping the other question but isn't this something to do with Nitrogen Balance?

Yes, I think so. Your body would have to be in a negative nitrogen balance in order for this to occur- this is where protein catabolism is exceeded by protein anabolism. (Your body would have to be in a negative nitrogen balance in order to be in a net state of catabolism.)

Gluconeogenesis is the answer if I didn't put it up already.

Correct! They also add kerosine to the mix at lift-off to get some extra boost, but that's only at the start.

Had no idea on that one! Pretty cool name for something not so good

Someone ask another question...No one really likes the ones I ask.

They're good, but just to hard!

Ok, why can you catch a flue over and over again while you're immune system makes you resistant to it after a prior encounter with this virus?

Because the virus mutates.

Ceterum censeo OTF esse delendam.

The flu's virus strain mutates or something?

I know that when you've finished with it your immune system has the anti-bodies to defend against it so I'm guessing that the flu creates or mutates somehow. A question that I've wondered about but never really looked into.

Damn you Storm.
