Jimi Hendrix was spotted by Diana Jagger, Mick Jaggers wife at that time, in some club somewhere. She was astonished and introduced him to big-shot producers and got his act on the fast lane.
Before that, Jimi was in Little Richards band, but he was to weird, even for Lill' Richards taste so he was dropped out and went solo. In comes ms. Jagger and the rest is history.
Cartoons!
Which character laid the base for He-Man and why did they alter it into He-Man, instead of maintaining the original character?
Hell yeah! I saw them a few years ago, and some dumb-ass crowdsurfer kicked a rip in my eyebrow, nothing serious. Good concert anyhow!
And back to the topic, the prince Adam thing is just the biggest part of the alteration, he has absolutely nothing to do with the inspiring character. Actually, think just the opposite of prince 'pink pants' Adam!
I'm sorry to invoke this sadness, I hope they'll go touring in the near future and give you a chance to see them... I do keep track of cool bands touring schedules, I will let you know in case I bump into any info bout the Apes, ok?
A few more hints on the He-Man quest; just about all that remained from the original character were a very muscular posture, a over-sized sword, some evil wizards and a few chicks (evil and good, and way more decently dressed). Any new thoughts?
