Trivial Pursuit - Registration & Discusstion Thread

Trivial Pursuit KMC edition brought on line. 6 colors, 6 players, individual or grouped up in a team.

We play clockwise in alphabetical order. The first letter of your username will determine your position. If you play as a team, choose a team leader. His or her username will determine your team’ s position in the circle of players.

Answers will be needed within a time limit. Post your answer within 2 minutes after I posted your question. If you exceed the time limit, your answer will not be accepted. Once an answer is given, it’ s definite. If I catch you on editing your answer, I’ ll have to declare it invalid as well and we’ ll move on to the next player or team.
If you play as a team and all of your team members happen to be on line at the same time, the first answer posted by one of your team members will be your team’ s definite answer. So consult your team members if you can.

Rules
I’ ll roll the die. Starting from the hub, your token will be moved the indicated number of spaces in any direction.

When a token lands in a category space or headquarters, you will be asked a question in that category.

The categories are color-coded:

Blue:Geography
Pink: Entertainment
Yellow: History
Brown: Art & Literature
Green: Science & Nature
Orange: Sports & Leisure

If you correctly answer the question, your turn continues with another roll of the die. However, if you answer incorrectly, the turn passes to the left.

A player must always move the number of spaces shown on the die.

Continuation of the play
If you land on the category headquarters, you can try to answer that question correctly for a colored wedge. If you answer incorrectly, the token must leave the headquarters on the next turn and later re-enter it for the player to attempt another question for credit.

A player landing in one of the 12 "Roll again" spaces continues the turn by rolling the die again.

When a token lands in the hub before the player has met the six headquarters requirements to be able to win the game, the hub is treated as a wild-card space and the player chooses the category for the subsequent question.

Any number of tokens may occupy the same space.

Winning the game
After a player has correctly answered a question in all category headquarters, the player' s token must make its way to the hub to attempt to win the game.

When the token lands in the hub, opposing players select the category for a final question, by simple agreement or a vote, and the next card then is drawn.

If the question is answered correctly, the game is won. If it is answered incorrectly, the player must leave the hub on the next turn and re-enter it for another question.

Any candidates?

Me

Interesting, but when do we sleep and eat and so on?

We play on the participants their rhythm. There can only be played when the player whose turn it is to answer a question is on line. If the next player comes on line after a few hours, he or she will receive his/her question then and so on.

Sounds good
