Ive got the 40gig Ipod and its awesome, there are lots of accesories readily avail., and it will hold some 15,000 songs. But for my uses i think i shouldve stuck with the other one i had which was a 256mb Iriver it was about twice the size of a double a battery and held like 40 songs, which is all i need at anyone time, plus changing songs in and out of it was ALOT easier than with the Ipod, not to mention that the Ipod put me back 550$US and the Iriver was only 149.99$

Well, first of all, there are different sizes of iPods. I think the smallest big iPod holds 15 gigs, and I doubt that many people could "easily" fill that. I have a pretty damn big music collection, and my 15 gig isn't even half filled. Get a 40 gig for a few bucks more and I can hardly even fathom how much music you could put in there. Plus, CDs are big and bulky and they get scratched... And iPods are sleek and sexy. 😛
CD's are annoying as hell, only because they scratch so much and I'm running out of places to keep them. I have one of those cd folders but it's full and I'm too cheap to buy another one so I keep all my burned cds in the cd holder that the blank cd's came in. If I bought the cd I just keep it in the jewel case
About how many songs does 15 gigs hold?
