And why do you think he wsa more of a Melee man? He was skilled in both, when you first meet him he carry's a blaster. In Kotor II he carry's a blaster when you meet him... Canderous is more skilled then Jango has seen more battles and has survived them all, he was a great warrior during the Mandelorian wars and later on. He did become Mandalore after all...

And how many mandelorians did he lead? How many wars did he fight? How many battles has he seen? How many army's has he faced?

Canderous has actual beskar(mando iron) so that helps against blaster bolts, and yeah, he'll get close enough and chop Jango to pieces.

or jango will hover above canderous with his jetpack and shoot blaster bolts at his head. Remember, canderous has no opportunity to block blasters, he's no jedi.

Going on ABC logic, Canderous is better than Calo Nord who hunted rancors and Krayt dragons for fun. Plus he has a regeneration implant and possibly energy shields.

As it is, Jango Fett went toe-to-toe with a notable Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan, and did just fine. He also killed several Jedi with his hands, and managed to defeat the Dark Jedi Komari Vosa in all-out combat. Canderous has never done anything to compare.

Its a good fight and the Mando's had the rocket-booster tech. back in the Mandolorian wars(Zayne Carrick), no way in hell could Mace rip his head off.

Doubtful those Jedi were exactly the best.
