sorry for the lateness, although I can see that you've kept yourself entertained for the most part. *ahem*ladies and gentlmen, my latest creation:
In cold times,
The warmth is sought.
When it’s hot
we seek the breeze.
During chaotic times,
We call upon the arbiters,
To make it right again.
When it’s rains we command the clouds
To go back home again.
When the winds rip across our earth,
We halt them and send them away.
But when we are hot, or cold,
Or chaotic, or wet, or vengeful and tear our foes,
Who is there to seek us, call us, command us, and halt us?
Who is there to take us hold?
For time and time again,
We have let ourselves be fooled.
We have convinced ourselves of deities.
We have exalted ourselves above the rest.
But terrible the feeling,
When we are pulled down from our mountains.
How cold the feeling is,
When we are left alone.
How wet we truly become,
When drowning in our sea of sins.
How abandoned do we become aware,
When all we know isn’t there.
