Angel of Death
When I meet the angel of death
Will She be lovely and voluptuous?
When She catches my wary eye
Will I see in Her face
all that I have ever loved
reflected back as in a magic mirror?
When I meet the angel of death
Will She be lovely and voluptuous?
When She take my hand in Hers
Will it feel like stumbling backwards into a piece of music?
Will death be like falling back into dreamless sleep?
Will death be like dissolving back into the elements?
back into Carbon, Nitrogen & Phosphorus?
back into the Earth?
back into the Air?
back into the Water, the Fire, the luminiferous Ether?
Will dying resemble falling into Black Vacuum?
Will dying remind me of falling in love?
When I meet the angel of death
Will She be lovely and voluptuous?
When She kiss me with Her promiscuous mouth
Will Her kisses drive me out of this world?
out of this body?
out of this mind?
When I meet the angel of death
Will She be lovely and voluptuous?
When She take me in Her ancient arms
Will Her beauty take my breath away?
Will Her beauty make me blind, make me deaf?
When I meet the angel of death
Will She be lovely and voluptuous?
When She strip the clothes from my body
Will Her eagerness make me out of breath?
out of sight?
out of hearing?
out of here?
When I meet the angel of death
Will She be lovely and voluptuous?
When She press Her irresistable body to mine
How will Her angelic skin feel to my touch?
What will death smell like?
How will She taste?
When I meet the angel of death
Will She be lovely and voluptuous?
Will She be That One Woman
I have been seeking all my life
In the arms of others?
When I meet the angel of death
Will She be lovely and voluptuous?

I have been dying to meet?
"Like a sinking ship,
this thread does make,
its way to the bottom of the page.
But as inevitably as it is,
we try to bring it up.
But much as we try,
and try hard as we may,
to the bottom of the page it makes its way.
So like the sinking ship,
I shall not intervene.
For old flowers die,
and new ones rise to take the lead.
But old trees last forever,
there legends in the stars.
For we are but forever,
our legends in our hearts.
This stanza i like very much. The one truth in life is this; we all one day shall face the Reaper, and be lain to rest. Regardless of stature, age, or anything we hold important in life. Course, Prince, I can get your poetry cause we share most beliefs, sans The Lady and the Pope.
And the young and the old, and the low and the high,
Shall moulder to dust, and together shall lie.
Oh, and btw, your stuff is good, and it is nice every now and then to see religion around, whether Christ, bhudda, heck even some satanists i know have good poetry.

Finally someone who agrees with me! That's exactly what I've been trying to say: If you don't like it, don't read it, or better yet, don't come here.
And Prince does have some really good poems hug And if OBLH doesn't like them, well then too bad. OBLH just likes to be the exception, I think. Or he just has something against teenagers and all their "emotional dramas"......
