Let's play a game.

I'll post some pictures of various musicians and bands, and you get to guess who they are. When all of them have been correctly guessed (not necessarily by one person), somebody else gets to post some more pictures. Do at least five, and try not to make them too obvious. Let's see how well this works...

Only one I know is number 4, which is Lostprophets....

Number 2 is Slug from Atmosphere.

All correct so far... I apologize for the size of the linked pic, it was the only one I could find of the band that didn't have their name on it and where it was easy to distinguish all of their faces.

This thread's going to get ugly, lol.

Could you do a different one for #3, it takes hours to load on my computer.

isnt it a bit of a give away when you use IMG tags...given that a right click and "view image" gives the images name which usually includes the band name

I didn't get Slug from Atmosphere coz I remember him having light skin and fair-ish hair. The close up sort of threw me off.

That's a cute trick, taking the part of the sentence that mattered least. The most important part being:

"...since that'd be a bit boring unless you were a five-year-old with a superiority complex."

Besides which, how would you suggest running this? There's no way to do it without either showing the names or downloading them all, renaming them, and uploading them. I'm not going to do that because that would mean, well... Downloading, renaming, and uploading every single one in a different post. 😐

Don't take this the wrong way, but do you honestly expect the majority of the people here to know who these characters are? As you can see, only the music elite have bothered participating in the thread. When I said that the thread was eventually going to turn ugly, that's what I meant, because in a way, this comes off as some "Look at me, I'm anti-mainstream!" music trivia. Not that I care, but what was the real motivation behind the thread? You had to have known this wasn't going to get much particpation.

I don't mean to sound rude, but if you don't care, can you please just drop it? I see absolutely no reason to have this thread dissolve into yet another page full of long-winded arguments that will probably end up getting closed. We have enough of those already.

And regardless of who it is, people are participating, and that's all that matters, surely. And if it is only the so-called ''elite'', then they'll all know most of the supposed ''anti-mainstream'' (I tend to call it 'stuff which isn't manufactured and forced into our faces via MTV'😉 band pictures posted here. So no, I don't see how it could get ugly. It wasn't ugly in the slightest until this little debate came up, so let's not go there.

Yup. The actual picture has Bill Bailey sitting next to RZA, but I figured that would just confuse people.
