Your T3!

If you had the chance to give advice on how to make T3 an improvement, what would you do?

You are given the T3 movie and are told to go through it with Jonathan Mostow and you have to explain what things you would take out and what things you would add.

Sound fun?

(I hope because I think this my best topic, lol)

When at the end of the movie, The Terminator should have said "Hasta a la Viesta Baby" instead of "you are terminated!" when he sticks the battery fussion thingy into the Terminatrix mouth

i would have NOT done the same thing of having the machine go back into time to save john and 1 is sent to kill him, THEY TRIED to be clever and said NO the tx was sent to kill john's future helpers.. but hah it took 20 min for all of us to say DEJA VU. although the ending was nice if i were ever to plan terminator3, i would first think of a good way to say how skynet still developed and became self-aware, no no by that i dont mean YOU ONLY POSTPONED JUDGMENT DAY, BECAUSE ITS INEVITABLE AND YOU SUCKERS WASTED TWO MOVIES TRYING TO PREVENT IT. i would have had good writers around me to tell me of a logical explanation on how judgment day still prevailed. and midway through the movie( maybe even before) i would start the future war against the machines, first to show HOW john connor became the leader of the human resistance, that question has always fascinated me( i know it was kind of explained in t3). and i would definately make t3 150 min along, so i can explain a PERIOD OF 30 ODD YEARS explaining how humans eventually win. and of course i would make a 3 hour t4 EPIC to seal the terminator franchise(yet again). its easy for me to say, but it sure is better than the jonathan mostow screw up who left like a p*ssy that he is, opening the plot like a busted va*ina and running away. YOU'RE GONNA FCUKIN PAY FOR IT 1 DAY MOSTOW IF I EVER GET YOU I AM GONNA SLAY U

Anywho.. the thing i hated foremost was the very dull opening credit sequence !

Throw in some killer Terminator Theme, forget about John on his bike, bring on scenes of future distruction and chaos !

I agree with Alic, I would have started the war of the machines in Terminator 3 and finished the war in Terminator 4. I would also basically do away with the entire script and story used for T3.

The first half of the film would have the T-850 coming back to the past (roughly 2007) only not as the "good guy" Terminator that everyone knows and expects. This would be an act of desperation by Skynet and one last attempt at eliminating John Connor. Caught off guard the Resistance unable to properly prepare a counter-act send back three of John's highest ranked soldiers. In this version Sarah is still alive and John has already married Kate Brewster. When John and Sarah first see the T-850 they still think he is their faithful ally and are unaware of his true intentions and program. The T-850 is carrying with him a shotgun which he points directly at John who then looks behind him but does not see any enemy targets anywhere near them so he immediately jumps out of the way. Sarah still believes and knows John's life is much more important than her own so she jumps into the incoming crossfire taking the bullets that were intended to kill her son. At that exact moment the three soldiers of the Resistance arrive and quickly disable and destroy the T-850. John begins to grieve over the death of his mother and her sacrifice meanwhile Skynet (not sure how) somehow go ahead with Judgement Day. The three soldiers protect and hide John and Kate from the ensuing destruction and explosions that are taking place. The second half of the film would show the beginning of the war of the machines.

no that sounds great, but i said that you have to use the T3 script as we seen it. You can only add or take away or both stuff into the already excisting script.

but good ideas, Mostow's not that bad.

So true, and it would have been nice if the person he had to beat up and take the clothes from was someone a little more intimidating, not a gay stripper. Maybe it could have been a group of off-duty police officers or something similar where you actually get to see how savage and unforgiving he really is.
