I have got to agree with Ushgarak. While it may seem wrong, the chemist does have the right to conduct business as they wish, as long as it is not causing harm. Just like a supermarket chain may boycott a product line that does not fit with their image, beliefs etc. While the two may appear separate, really the whole of the corporate sector is like that, and morals can play a large part.And while I don't agree with it, I think don't think it would work trying to force them to do it. Surely it would be easy to simply go to another chemist who are prepared to fill the prescription.
It is okay for a particular pharmacy to choose not to carry certain products. What is not okay is for an employee at a pharmacy that does carry these products to refuse to sell them.
