Classic Or Alternative Rock

I've pretty much grown up on 107.7 SFR radio station, because my parents listened to it and STILL DO. I LOVE like...every classic rock song. Do you listen to classic rock music? If so what do you like most?

What are the exact definitions of 'classic' and 'alternative' here? Classic as in pre-70's? Pre-80's? Pre-90's? Alternative is a joke, pretty much any rock band which doesn't string together big hit after big hit can be considered alternative, and that includes 'classic' bands.

Anyway, my taste isn't defined by age or era, so neither.
