Batgirl vs. Kitty Pryde

Since Kitty can selectively choose which parts of her body she wants to solidify she could always just solidify the tip of her fingers inside Cassie.
That or phase the arena floor and watch gravity do the trick. 😬

Batgirl fought Shadowthief ...and defeated him. It was actually quite an interesting match.

As you may know, ShadowThief has a Thanagarian device that allows him to go into shadow-mode where he is not only intangible but can also 'melt' (actually the word is meld) with/into shadows. Batgirl still defeated him .....and not only that, but in the process learnt a whole new Thanagarian martial art just by looking at him (using it on Shadow Thief almost killed him).

Anyways, as long as Kitty stays intangible she is safe ....nothing Cassie can do can get to her. But based on her fight with Shadow Thief (who was trying the same stunt), ANY move Kitty tries against Batgirl that involves Kitty become tangible (even for fraction of a second) then it will be her @$$.

So: If Kitty stays intangible she is safe .....but she cannot also win (but Batgirl doesn't win either). If she comes out of her intangibility so as to use her 'ninja' moves against Batgirl she will be toasted so fast she will not know what happened (the only result, apart from Kitty losing, is her unwittingly teaching Cassie any 'ninja' moves that she uses ....although Batgirl would already know them probably. After all, I doubt Kitty would be using any Thanagarian, or other alien, fighting styles).

Thus: Kitty has to stay intangible. That was she will not lose, but will not win. If she tries to become tangible she gets taken down.

Standoff.

Kitty could phase a rock, then dephase it into Cassie's brain, while not becoming tangible.

Even if she would hypothetically have to go tangible to grab the rock, I assume the arena extends well beyong Cassie's arm reach.

And that's just one way.

And Cass would be taking a nap while Kitty gets her phase on?

not to mention kitty could likly fight cass pritty well even with out the use of her powers. Kitty no slouch in the MA department.
