I think it is skill in this case, honestly. If you see me quoting the prophecy, it's because I've either had too much to drink or I'm being sarcastic.

Anakin would definitely defeat Jaden.

This goes to Anakin no problem. Jaden wasn't even that powerful.

Anakin would waste Jaden, he single handedly defeated some of the best jedi in the order, destroyed the jedi temple, killed Dooku (who would beat Jaden). And Sidious himself said (not sure where, maybe the RotS book) that Anakin was more powerful than him.
Anakin wins, hands down.

When did Jaden ever fight Dooku?

Anakin had more potential than anyone in the history of the galaxy and when he turns to the darkside, there is more power flowing through him than any other being period.

The prophecy does not say Anakin has more potential than anyone in the history of the galaxy. And if GL did, I'm certain he was excluding EU entirely.
