Force Crush vs. Enlightenment

oh the thought never occured to me./....BTW do any of you know if you change the settings...do you get more XP pts for kills?

Don't think so... Not quite sure actually, the only difference i can think of is the HP of your enemy's

Your enemy's are harder to kill making the game harder

but if no more XP pts...who cares how hard they are to kill

People that want to have an harder time killing their enemy's

You do get more experience on difficult. Not much, but some. If you didn't, the game would get progressively harder and harder until mynocks could whup your team's ass.

I like enlightenment over crush, which surprises even me because I love all dark side powers under the sun. The last time I played through light side I was a Consular/Master and I had master speed, master valor, and Force armor. If you have all those activated, you're pretty much invincible. Even Kreia couldn't touch me, I was wicked tough. I don't like crush very much because it never seems to work very well. I can do more damage with enlightenment activated than with crush.

I played as a pure LS sentinal and DS sentinel I found Force enlightenment to be a better power 10 fold. It grants the user any defensive powers they may have and helps you last longer in the end. The best ways to defeat an opponent is making it very hard for him to defeat you. And When you gain speed with force enlightenment and use master flurry enemies fall before they can use powers against you esp. when combined with stasis field

Yes, but if you just pick the enemy up and crumple them like a bad drawing you don't need to put yourself in bodily harm.

But with a stasis field you stop most people from harming you anyway, the force crush is good but I found it only works on a single person which suck because while your having fun breaking one peson in half his amigos are shooting at you. WIth enlightenment the shots nor saber strikes take off much health. And if you have those jimbronis in a stasis field you'll be fine. In the tyranus academy all I did was you put on force enlightenment, use force confusion to make jedi fight thier friend and put stasis fields up. That leaves use as an ivinsble character that mowes down enemies. And even if I has some health taken off since I was light I could use master heal and be good as new. Although I was seduced by the dark side even as LS Jedi I couldn't resist using Force storm to bring foes to thier knees. 😄

And on top of that force crush doesn'tr work on all of your adversaries I have not read one post where someone actually force crushed traya nor scion. When I was lightside jedi master I was able to put that Billy Sastard in a stasis field all the way through ✅

i crushed both sion and kreia to death one time when i really didnt have a wish to fight them

Depends on your wisdom and charisma modifiers. I've successfully Force crushed both Sion and Kreia and every two bit Sith in between. But back to Lightside Enlightenment, it does jack. I just played (on difficult) and went up against Atris. Now, mind you, I have upgraded armor and a lightsaber that would make Mace go "Daaaaaaamn" and I kicked on the elightenment. Got stunned by a critical, and then PWNED BY ATRIS. I was so livid I shut the game off. Pwned by Atris, of all people. As far as I'm concerned, enlightenment sucks. Screw that.

DUDE MY LIGHT CHARACTER WAS ABLE TO WIPE THE FLOOR WITH EVERY ENEMY WITHOUT BEING KNOCKED DOWN. I might be wrong but I believe it work by activating all of the defensive powers you give your player. So if you just give him attack power of course it's gonna be useless. But if you give him VALOR, SPEED, MASTER HEAL ETC. you know the boring stuff that doesn't have a visual effect (sans speed) you'll be king of badasses simply because you can't be brought down. I understand the fun there is to have with force crush but. Really I like beating the SH*T out of enemies with a lightsaber and with enlightenment it makes that action so much better. p.s. Let's not argue exile vs. revan on this thread. But i do want to ask was anybodies revan more powerful than thier exile by the end of each game because when I played as Revan I got the sh*t kicked out of me on the starforge and that was with the help of bastilla and Canderous DS. And even with Jolee and Juhani LS. With the Exile on the last level I easily destroyed my enemies alone. 🤨

Thats game mechanics... The exile can reach level 50 Revan only 20, you do the math thats 2.5 times as much... Yet the game does have something that makes enemy's more powerful when the character becomes more powerful. Thats why Kotor I had a lvl 20 limit, to not make you to powerful because the game would be boring.
