How long should you wait......

Basic scenario

You've arranged to meet someone/ a group of friends, your dangerously early once again!

The time has passed and still they/no one has arrived....

How long( and be reasonable), should you wait before you finally give up and go home?

I usally wait 15 more minutes (depending on the weather and my location) before finally giving up and dragging my carcus back home....

what about you ?

i ring to see if theyre still coming...if not, ill do something myself....(eg, if it was planned to see a movie, id go see one by myself)

15 min as well. But if the scenario really calls for it, 30 min at the most.

when my friends are late...i dont usualyy get annoyed ( im used to being late myself) but when they dont turn up at all ( even after calling them etc) then that really annoys me! ....specially if it was something important!

OK ...how about this ....your waiting for someone.... and they specifically told you that they would be at 'X' at 'x' time...they don't turn up...you've called their Mobile, no answer,...

what do you do ?

carry on waiting?
or go home?

wait a bit longer...maybe they got stuck in traffic or something...after about 30mins, go do something else.
it depends on what the plan was, coz if i made plans to go somewhere like 30mins away from home, id be pissed. but something like 15mins away wouldnt be too bad....id stay there.

are you quite a patient person ?

depends...if it was a movie and they were late, id go in anyway. but if it was something like just hanging around in the city, id wait a bit.
