Women, they get away with anything.

Ok here is the problem I have: Is that woman can get away with any kind of sexual discrimination or harassment simply because they are women.

I REALLY noticed this about 4 weeks ago because my friend was up to my University.

Anyways he was hanging out with the girls downstairs (they were all drunk). What happened was that they were harassing him to show his penis to them (about 7 or so girls and just him as the only male)

Anyways, he was standing there and they all were harassing him, the next thing he knows they pulled his pants down! (He was wearing pajama pants). And what happened? They were all like “hahaha! Yes we just sexually harassed you and because were girls it’s not a problem, it’s just good fun”. This really pisses me off (he was very unimpressed to say the least) girls can do something like this and there are absolutely no consequences, as a matter of fact, society seems to just not care. In contrast if I was to harass a girl to take off her shit and then she didn’t so I pulled her shit off, I’d get sued for sexual harassment, or at the very least my peers would think I’m some sick perverted weirdo and the rest of the girls would never talk to me again. But girls can do it and their peers just think it’s hilariously funny.

There is a serious problem in society when it comes to this and I was wondering what you all think.

this double standard is grossly blatant in the case of child molestation. when an older woman takes advantage of a young boy, its almost considered a joke.
'what a lucky boy! ha ha' everyone says. even in the most disgusting cases the media will jump in to defend her, bringing up any excuse they can dig up, mostly having to do with her own abuse as a child.

meanwhile, if its a man, they are instantly demonised and no consideration is taken to whether or not they were previously abused. nobody says 'what a lucky girl ha ha', and rightfully so imho. f*** him and let him rot. but why is this exclusive to men while not to women?

this is often overlooked and any mention of it is instantly labled as 'woman hating'.

Well, too be fair, you friend probably could have sued them if he wanted too. Sexual harrasment does go both ways, just most men don't care enough to sue over it.

Hell, in fact, I'd bet most guys would love to be "sexually harrased" by a group of 7 girls. If they asked me too show my dick to them, it would be out before the sentance was even out of their mouths.

Yeah, I forgot to say that the threat starter is pretty much correct, there is an undeniable double standard when it comes to women and what's acceptable.

Yes women can get away with anything. Is our fault we let them.

i don't actually think that women get away with anything. for instance women and they "glass ceiling"etc.

but I mean it really pisses me off to think that in the girls minds they did no wrong. but if i was to say to some girl "hey lemme see ur boobs" and then she said no (and he DID say no) and then i was to take her shirt off, in EVERYONES mind this would be a huge wrong....
