i pm'd her and told her my team and that i was switching nimrod for biary and she said that it was ok

then what are Zatanna's limitations?

not sure but she can be taken out she has to concentrate to say the spell. it only takes like a second but she has to think about what she wants

i know she can be taken out..... i mean what are the limitations once she speaks?..... can she turn the solar system into a horse?

i still think she is the most rediculously overpowered character.... she can literaly make anything happen and all she has to do is say a couple of words backwards

why are you against it?? afraid of competition?? she can be taken out, yes she is majorly powerful but lacks the ability to use it. she has to concentrate to use her powers and doesn't like to use them often and hardly suts loose. i bet most heralds could beat her.

they probably could...... if it was just her...... if she's bonded with anyone smarter, faster or tougher she has all the time she needs to say "uoy eid won" and that's that.......... i'm just letting you know that i will be lobbying against her on this

the fact that she only ever has to say 2 or 3 words to kill ANYONE makes her a Skyfather level magic wielder... if not in any other respect

SF, you fail to realize that with nimrod she can speak the words faster than any normal human, and easily thrash the competition in like a second. Having infinite power like that makes her far too powerful an opponent.

ok nataku if you read one of my previus posts i don't have nimrod anymore i have some one else. and i can't have zatanna say now you die backwords because the rules or powers don't allow that. the rules limit a lot of things i could have done but now can't

It still doesn't prevent her from saying; "Invisibility" "Intangible" or some other such nonsense to give her time to cast whatever magic she wants.

how specific do her sentences have to be?

in that Deathstroke beats the JLA fight, DS takes her out as she's saying "ezeer" which i assume would have finished "ezeerf"..... but freeze in and of itself means nothing

regardless...... her power seems infinite when the correct words are spoken and that means she's above herald level

I'm all set with my team as it is, no one did anything to bother my combo and I'm all set.

no, her power may be above herald when you properly use it. she has to concentrate to use spells. the rules limit what she cn and can't do. she is too safe and moral to really cut loose. that quote proves that she can be taken out and that her spells have to be accurate. it doesn't take like a minute long but like 1 or 2 seconds
