New EP III footage from the game

my thoughts:

Honestly, I am not all that impressed and kinda... underwhelmed.

Dooku's jump is really bad in my opinion... not only does it not look too great, but I think it's really out of character and unneeded. And what's with the igniting of the lightsabers in that scene? Did anyone else think it looked weird? I think it was the sound... something is wrong there... 😬

I'm even more worried about Grievous after seeing him in that clip... not about the CG, which I think is fine, but about his voice. I dunno... I'll have to see it in the movie before I completely dismiss it.

The Space Battle stuff. I think, looked great. Except for R2's jump out of the Starfighter... that shot didn't convince me at all...

The only problem I have is the Artoo jumping thingy, and even that isn't that big a deal. I'm actually less worried about Grievous' voice now that I've seen that scene. I thought he would be a lot more difficult to understand based on the audio clips we've gotten. But I understood him there just fine.

It's an Xbox. I didn't watch the footage but the fact they've made it for consoles and not the PC puts me off already! It'd be nice to see it on the PC... but not a straight conversion... console/PC conversions are normally LAME.

theres 14 clips that have been posted of tfn and ive seen them all(probly about 8 minutes of footage). And I have to say I was impressed with most of it. The cgi was really really stunning but that didnt really suprise me, what surprised me was the acting... it was good! real good especally from hayden, his really improved. All his delivery's where done perfect and all the other actors where great to. There was one thing that wasent so great in the footage and it was of artoo. I didnt mind his jump out of the star fighter, that looked kinda cool but in the other clips his moving really fast, to fast. In all the other movies his been slow, his always been the one thats at the end of the line and follows the others. But in these clips his just really fast and I dont like it, it doesent make sense.

Rockin' footage!

The dialogue is excellent. The encounter with Dooku is particularly interesting because it feels just like the insincere action serial these films have always intended to be. Doubling back on its own clarity and obviousness.

Anakin's admittance of his own arrogance and Obi-Wan's complement of being "strong and wise." That's unexpected. But then again, it really isn't because this whole "destiny" theme ultimately undermines what the characters believe, even if it is, in theory, completely opposed to an eventual end.
