Coleman Trebor was regarded as a negotiator than a warrior. Besides, Trebor used Form VI lightsaber combat, A.K.A "The Diplomat's Form". This Form SUCKS compared to even Form I which is the first lightsaber form ever made up.

Darth Maul, Double-Bladed Lightsaber, killed Qui-Gon Jinn, and a practitioner of Form VII.

Let's be honest here. What are the chances of a negotiator surviving a battle with a "crazy" assassin?

I hated that scene. Are we supposed to believe that some punk with a gun could kill a Jedi so easily?

Form VI has its flaws certainly but if it was really as useless as they make out here, why would ANYONE practise it?

actually, Form VI is practised by Jedi who don't favour fighting. This form allows them to be more like diplomats, thus following the Jedi belief of being peacekeepers (you know, talking is the key to solving a problem and all that stuff).

Unfortunately, in the Battle of Geonosis, there were more negotiators than knights and masters. SO that's how we ended up with only 20 survivors on film.

Anyways, Coleman Trebor is a terrible fighter. If he went up against Dooku or Darth Maul, He'd be killed after the first few strikes.

LOL, Coleman got pwnd by Jango! Maul'd beat Coleman like Sidious beat Saesee Tiin 😆
