which black canary?

The young one for the JLA. Not the old one from WWII.

what are the differences between the two?

The young one is far more skilled and has a sonic scream.

didn't the old one have a scream as well?

I don't think so. Maybe. I often get the two confused.

The old one had a flock of black canaries attack after she said a Lantern-esque chant as her special ability. No sonic scream. The scream was a curse placed on her daughter when she was a baby. "Sonic crying". In time she learned to use it as a weapon.

Elektra's a much more skilled and lethal fighter. A shuriken to the larynx would shut Canary up.

Black Canary is a very good fighter. Especially after she trained with Lady Shiva.

with the sonic scream it's not even a fair fight...also she's fine as hell

BC has good enough h2h to engage her......and a sonic scream powerful enough to end her

Canary's very good, in DC's top ten HtH fighters... though Elektra's definitely in Marvel's top ten too and arguably higher up in it....

This is a very good fight. Elektra, having weapons, probably has the edge in melee, but yea, the scream...
