Ubermensch Logan
This is my conceptual update for an excellent Marvel character, even though he has had many.
Logan, born James Howlett in October of 1887, is alone. Friends have abandoned him as have his memories. He is a mutant with ability heal rapidly and has animal-esque senses. A victim of Weapon X exploitation, and due to his natural propensity to go feral, he is forever trying to subdue a savageness that resides within. In the year 2017, on the eve of Logan's 130th birthday, he still looks like a man no more than 35 years old. He is wandering, as his mind always does, along the coast of Haiti. Forever the nomad, he stumbles onto a vacant cave. The cave is populated with hundreds of gems, pastel in color, but he pays them no mind. While in slumber, his adamantium skeleton begins to be dragged by some magnetic force in the cave, but he does not awaken from his rest.
The next day, he awakens and in opening his eyes is blinded by a flash of light. He was dragged through a secret passage and is now in a coliseum type room with literally thousands of the pastel gems emitting intense light all over his being. He screams out in agony as his body begins to glow bright red, and few seconds later, the cave is leveled. During this assault on his body he sees a dark silhouette. It is appears to be a Voodoo witchdoctor and he stares intensely at Logan, as if he is a long lost friend. He stands amidst the cave's ruins and for the first time in decades, he's feels different.
He can remember his entire life again, and can discern his memory implants from his true ones. His senses have increased to a nigh cosmic scale and his healing factor has become immeasurable, theoretically making him virtually immortal. He can survive (viably this time), contact with a small scale nuclear weapon and as long as cell or an iota of tissue is left, he will regenerate from it. His mind is physically immune to all forms of psychic assault. He is also know in the 70 ton class and has complete control over his savage side. His adamantium skeleton has been demagnetized and its tensile strength increased 70 fold.
His hearing and sight are now so keen, he has limited telepathic ability as he can hear the thoughts of people, hundreds at a time, and can see apparitions. His sense of scent is so keen; he can smell a bowl of beet soup in Russia while on the Virgin Islands and will develop a scent database of sorts. With his scent database he can pinpoint the assailant within 2 minutes anywhere on earth, an hour anywhere in the solar system! He employs a pair of pastel colored, gem wings to propel him vast distances, that he found at his feet after the explosion. They can move him at speeds in excess of Mach 7.
He has become far more than he once was, he is still Logan, or rather James or Jimmy, which is what he now prefers, he is homo supreme and his first target will be the old members of the now defunct Weapon X program and his second will be to find out who incinerated nearly half of the mutants in the world, including The X-Men. And even though his muddled past his now behind him one questions still remains, WHO THE HELL is insane enough to grant Logan these powers!!???! This is one answer Ubermensch Logan intends to find out.
