To answser your question about how Colossus escaped Magneto's hold....I belive it was his will....he was brought to the ground, and by his inner strength, he started to rise, and Magneto was rather shocked, and with one quick and powerful rise, Colossus put everything he had into the punch. It was awesome.

yep, thats pretty much it... i think it was to do with the fact he was ion love with logan... i have a pic somewhere...
