hey hughnut just one advice to help you with your wallpapers, I think that you make them too plain and "Squarish"...I know I'm not the better person to help you here cause I only use paint too, but let me just point a couple of things that'd make better wallpapers

pick a cool image related to the character and set it as your background

and then just select a image of the character you want to "star" in your wallpaper to put it in front of the background...the thing is, if you choose a square type of image like you're currently doing...the wallpaper loses part of his coolessness =P, so instead choose a picture of the character that has white background, then you'll notice that to your left in the button bar, you'll have two choices, one is to remain with the white background, the other only selects the character itself and every other n-white squares that may be on the background

for example, I'll choose this cable pic

btw you can also use shapes, color contrast, cool letter effects...etc

IMAGINATION IS THE LIMIT =P

btw this "you can only edit your message 15 mins after you posted" sucks soo much...jesus christ... 😠

as per your request... i had to make some alterations to be able to get rid of the text bubbles... but anyway...

had to delete this one, last minute changes needed...
